I got this mat for my 7 yrs old for gymnastics practice at home. It has a thick durable covering. Like the fact that this mat can be easily folded away. I also like that additional mats could be attached to Velcro strips on this mat to grow with her as she grow bigger.

The mat is pretty firm but has enough give so that you don't get injured if you fall. Non-slip too, unless you're wearing socks. The velcro is great in case you want to attach more mats to it.

My overall experience is excellent. These mats are quality mats like you would find in any athletic gym. They are not cheap imitation made for home use mats. These mats are the real deal. Sturdy. Easy to clean. Ordered and delivered in a timely way.

Got this for my kids to do some co conditioning while gyms were all closed. It was bit softer than expected so they didn’t use it much. Also the cover is slight bigger than the filling so it slides a bit. So I put it under my bench for my workout so I can drop the weights without smashing the floor.
