These mats do exactly what they are supposed to do, at a great price. Mine were pretty sticky out of the package, but that is easy to fix by tamping them with a towel, and the stickiness is useful for some vinyls. If you are cutting card stock, I would put a piece down, then peel it off before you cut your project to make sure you can get the cardstock off the mat without tearing. If the mat is too sticky, tap it with a fuzzy, clean towel and check again. I check every new mat with whatever I am cutting, no matter what company makes the mat. ... show more
