This tool really helps in pulling up wood floors. The extra leverage with the long handle really helps save the back. I might sharpen the prongs to make it easier to get under the boards. Sometimes I had to use a smaller pry bar to give the floor boards a slight lift to get the bigger tool started. The rubber on the handles did have an issue and not sure if the rubber will last that is the only reason for 4 stars.

First off this tool is fantastic. I'm taking up a vinyl floor covering and particle board subflooring in a utility room and kitchen. I used crow bars and a wonder bar and chisels in the utility room and it took me several days of hard work to take up the subfloor. I ordered the Gutster for the kitchen floor removal and the job took me 4 HOURS. Not only is it highly superior in prying up the board, it also was great for pulling nails that weren't pulled out with the subflooring. I sharped the points with a grinder before I began, and that worked great for getting under the subfloor with minimal effort.

The tool itself works great. I recommend it highly. My complaint is with Amazon who fulfilled the order. I ordered it back in December for a project I had this summer so it sat wrapped in plastic until now. When I removed it from the packaging, I found that the end of the handle was damaged and a piece was missing. The damaged area was heavily wrapped in plastic to, I assume, attempt to camouflage the damage. So now, too late to return.
