It all started with a Grover stuffed animal and now with have 4. Cookie monster is a great addition. As for now it seems to be holding up well and came as shown in the photo. These are so cute and fun for any children.

I wish Gund made a bigger cookie monster to pair with Elmo. My toddler likes it well enough though. There was some shedding ff the box and we'll see if there will be more as the days go by (Just had it for a day). The eyes are hard plastic...don't really mind though but i wish they had used cloth like Elmo. yeah, Gund Elmo is a tough act to follow. ... show more

    • Big Bird is a hit with my parrots
I bought this toy to prop up on top of a small, wall mounted flat screen TV in the bird room to keep my Macaws from flying and landing on the TV. I got tired of replacing the balloons I normally tape to the top of the TV and this little guy was a lot cuter anyway. The birds like watching Sesame Street movies so maybe they recognize him. (Yeah, the birds are a little bit spoiled, but they do sit on the perches closest to the TV and watch the cartoons or kid's movies and it keeps them occupied). If you're thinking of buying it for a child, this is a nice, soft plush toy and would be a great cuddly for bedtime. It's a nice size too, small enough to carry around and it looks like it would go into the washer and dryer when it gets dirty. BTW, the description says it's the Cookie Monster doll, but this is definitely Big Bird, just as pictured. ... show more

Cookie’s eyes seemed misplaced. Exchanged for different one but still the same. Not that bad, but still weird looking. Grandson didn’t care though.
