Very strong magnet. Easy to install. The adhesive is terrible. Wanted to use it in my truck. Mounted it to the plastic side of the center console on drivers side. I used isopropyl alcohol to complete my cleaning of the area to ensure the surface was clean and free of any issues. Waited ten minutes after alcohol to install using adhesive only (very thin plastic so screws not an option). It looked great and seemed to work fine. Came out to truck about fifteen minutes later to run an errand and it had fallen off and the adhesive was not sticky at all. VERY disappointed with this product. I guess I will try to find a use for it that I can attach using screws. ... show more

Does just what it says it will and does it well, but be aware, it will scratch your metal slide when pulling your firearm out. I just put a few layers of duct tape over it and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Holds my full size PT99 (Beretta 92FS clone) and my 380 FEG (PPK clone) perfectly. Very happy. Had other magnets in the past that when a bump was hit the the gun would fall. This keeps them secure. Very happy.
