I have been purchasing another brand, but they were unavailable. These looked similar, so I figured I'd give them a shot. These worked just as well as the other brand I was using. They hold my handguns well both horizontally and vertically mounted. They are great for concealment around your house. Well made, great buy for the cost!

I purchased a package of four. I installed one in my pickup. I prepared the surface before applying the magnet with the supplied adhesive strip. I used the magnet to hold my cell phone. It was mounted on the front side of my center seat, with the weight of the phone setting on the center hump/floor of the truck. After two days of limited use, when I pulled the cell phone off, the magnet came with it, separating from the adhesive. I used another brand that held heavier items for over two years on a full time basis. I will reattach with screws or 3M adhesive. UPDATE: Without being contacted, the seller contacted me regarding this review. They are working to resolve my issue. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The magnet is super strong and holds my handgun securely, whether I mount it in the car, under a desk, etc. The rubber coating is a nice touch—it protects the gun and keeps it from getting scratched. I wanted to have it attached under my desk, so I didn't want to use the screws to hold it on, naturally I tried just the 3M strip that's on the back, it's still stuck to the bottom of my desk but as you can see the adhesive to the magnet itself seems to have failed which caused my glock 23 to fall to the floor, my hardwood floor, thankfully I was concerned my fallout universe negative 10 luck would probably come into play with this so I left the chamber empty, the weapon only ways like 2 to 3 lb so definitely doesn't reach the advertised capacity.

Heavy duty magnets and was easy to install. The black rubber blends in and looks nice. Definitely holds a small pistol quite well. The grip is so strong it pinched my finger the first time I used it.
