Bolted a 3000 pound Harbor Freight Badland winch to it to use for pulling stuff on to trailers. Seems heavy duty enough.

Have yet to use it under load, but the winch and cable rollers mounted perfectly. Only thing I don't understand is that the bolt holes are tapered out for recessed bolt heads so you need to use screw head bolts which aren't available in hard grades. I would've preferred using 8 grade machine bolts BUT with four bolts, it should and probably will be fine. Had they just drilled straight holes, it would've been a 5 star review! Despite bolt holes, I don't think you'll find anything better!

I haven't broken this yet so it must be pretty good. It's a little bent from overloading but still works fine. I have a 5,000lb winch mounted on it, FYI.

Last night 8/26/24 for some reason when I was checking order status, I seen it was trying to cancel. Reached out Amzn F Puppets said not their fault SSDD, Reached out to the seller and before any of my Amazon orders arrived here today at 1300 hours Wisconsin this was delivered and hadn't been canceled excellent service I've built two deer stands from sportsman's guide excellent step by step instructions especially for the 6-ft tower blind wrong wrench mentioning but they'll fix that eventually but excellent products just excellent is it veteran business owner the game with companies like this is what it's all about making my veterans happy thank you sportsman's guide Amazon you need help

It wasn't a perfect match for my new little winch. I was able to make a couple more holes to match up. This thing is a beast. I have no doubt that it will hold up longer than the winch! I am using the winch during deer hunting to drag my deer up the hill, I'm to old and fat to do it myself!

This Winch Mount Hitch comes with the Receiver Bar Pin and the Mount. (The Bolts pictured were purchased elsewhere.) This Hitch Mount is a perfect fit for the HF 2500 LB winch, which mounts on only 2 bolts through the plate. I don't recommend this winch mount for anything larger because, while the welds are solid and of good quality, I don't think the mounting plate has enough 'beef' to handle 5000 lbs without bending. This also relies on the quality of your winch mounting bolts. Also, because of the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate, I was able to mount my electical box on the underside of the winch plate. When I install the Anderson Power Coupler Plugs (also from Amazon) for power, this will be a very portable and easy-to-use removable winch.
