My husband really likes these boots. Great quality for a great price. He has spent more on other brands that were very heavy and not waterproof. He usually wears a 10 but I ordered size 11 and they fit great with a thin or thick sock. They have been tested in rain , mud and snow with no leaks and great traction. Very comfortable and insulated for warmth. He thinks they will also make a good hunting boot. He also like the fact that the top of the boot can be tightened. No complaints. ... show more

    • Is a descent warmer weather boot for the price, not recomended for wear in freezing conditions

The boot is actually 16 and a half inches tall, not 15 inches as advertised. The fit is true to size, and comfortable to wear on the feet. The included tag states 100% water proof, and I haven't have a chance to test that claim yet. I purchased these for spring turkey hunting, to be able to get across rivers and streams, or to get through muddy areas, or wearing after it has rained, or a heavy dew. The camo tops on these boots blend great with camo pants, and the boots are fairly light weight, and very comfortable. The 1200 gram Rocky rubber boots that I have, would be too hot for spring turkey hunting, but great for cold weather hunting. The heel knob on the back of these , really helps in getting the boots off. I would not recommend these to anyone who has large calves, as they are made in China by people with smaller calf sizes. They are just right for me, as I have chicken leg calves. For me, they are pretty easy to get on, and off, as well. The 400 grams of thinsulate will be perfect for those frosty early morning turkey hunts, but not too warm as the day warms up. Will update this if they leak. ... show more

Very comfortable light weight hunting boot. The boot runs true to size. I was able to wear one pair of wool socks and my feet stayed warm in 20 degree F temperatures while walking. The uppers are very flexible, with no chafing or discomfort. I would compare the fit and feel to the Muck style boot. At a fraction of the cost of many name brand competitor's boots, these are a great value. ... show more

11 year old requested in insulated rubber boots. I have a hard time paying big bucks for boots that he will wear for 2 years so I took a gamble on these. Spent another 9 bucks on some insulated soles. He loves them and says his feet stay warm. He has wore them in zero temps for several hours. No complaints for the money. ... show more

    • Felt like the soles of the boot had horse shoes in them. Way too loose for normal feet.

Fit way too big even with thick wool socks. Also the steel shank in the foot is way too heavy compared to how light the rest of the boot is. Theres no padding at all to them. Felt like they had horse shoes in the bottom and with everytime you lift the your foot the sole would move away from the bottom of my foot and then smack the bottoms when making contact with the ground. Unless you have very fat feet, I dont know how someone could travel in the woods with these. ... show more

This boot is a real bargain for the price. It may be a tad heavy, and they are sized just a little on the large side, but very comfortable and waterproof. You won't find a better boot for the same money.

Super comfortable once you get them on. I wouldn’t buy this product again based off the overall quality. The boot is not very well thought out. The adjustment to let the top open more is useless and doesn’t have enough adjustment to even be bothered with, it’s only use is something to help pull the boot on. The first time o out these on to go cut firewood this past weekend the rubber band around the top peeled off. Like I said they are super comfy and did the job, but I can see they are not gonna hold up. ... show more

I was skeptical because of the price but I thought I would take the gamble. I wore them 3 days in a row turkey hunting and was pleasantly surprised. No leaks at all and they are actually pretty comfortable. You wouldn't want to wear them when it is super cold outside, but they were perfect for a spring hunt. I would 100% buy again. ... show more
