I actually used these for an at height welding repair job in the mountains. We had to get the work done without the usual helicopter support. This ladder is light, stable and allowed us to climb a steel pole safely, all with a tool we can pack on a frame pack.

    • Pretty good
I wear a size 15 shoe/boot. So the original version of these were NOT big enough to safely use. These extra wide ones though are great. Stand off the tree enough to get a good step in and wide enough for both feet in one rung when needed. I personally am not a huge fan of the cam Buckle straps, where you just pull them through, but I also am worried about these types of things since a hang stand failed on me a few years ago, and the safety harness I wore saved my life, (wear those things people, you never know) but now I have a habit of over securing things these days lol. I replaced the middle and top strap with ratchets, and they are rock solid. Price could be JUST a bit cheaper. But a good buy! ... show more

I weigh 200 lbs and I can climb this very safely. Put it up by myself but would recommend a helper or spotter. made well and straps will fit around a 16" diameter tree very well. any bigger and you might want to buy longer straps

Welds are ridiculous. It's so far off you can't even get the bolt thru the hole. Joke.

    • Very Sturdy
Very sturdy and easy to climb. I am 66 and not as steady as I used to be so it’s important to have a solid ladder that has wide treads. Easy to maintain 3 points of contact.
