I was looking for a inexpensive tree stand to fill a spot on my property and this stand was the one! Excellent deal for $89. Easy to assemble and had it out in the woods within an hour. Solid stand when installed correctly The seat is comfortable. I have only used it twice but one was a 3 hour sit and legs felt great when I climbed down. I did purchase some extra straps (4 pack) to use. You can never be too safe. I double strapped the top, added one on the foot base, and another on the middle brace to just make things much more solid. I was surprised to see the safety harness in the bag as well. I have tried it on and it works well for a 5’11” 250lb guy. My only complaint is the cushion on the shooting bar is a bit loud when moving your gun across. I recommend wrapping it with a towel or some duct tape. Great deal and thinking of buying another. ... show more

If you’re looking for a simple budget treestand this is it. However this is a treestand that needs slight mechanical skills to be good. Hence why 4 instead of 5 stars. Don’t expect for less than 100$ bucks an awesome stand it’s just simple nothing fancy and gets the job done.

I did not expect much for the price & I've had some issues with Guide gear products in the past. I was surprised on how quickly it was assembled. Got a good chuckle as it came with an install DVD. Bought it to practice sitting archery shots and I was impressed with how comfortable it was. It may not be a lazy boy in a tree but it's not bad. 4/5 for durability. To be expected for Chinese metal at that price point. Select a larger tree, otherwise it’s a very difficult install and dangerous. The shooting rest is not user friendly at all. I’m 6’ tall 180lbs and had to do acrobatics to get under the bar and pulled down. Once down it’s acceptable but careful getting out . Harness required for safe entry and exit. ... show more

Received this for Christmas and we just set it up for hunting season which starts next weekend. So cheap! Bent and broke in an instant a long with the safety bar. Can't believe my bf didn't break his legs or his back. Wish we could be refunded our money.
