  • Great Value - 6hr solo assembly
You cannot break the economics triangle: there’s fast, cheap, and right, and you can only get two. This was cheap and right, but it was definitely not fast to assemble, which is fine. None of the assembly was too difficult; I was able to use all the predrilled holes, all the product dimensions were correct, and all the hardware was correctly provided. The instructions are brief, accurate, straightforward, and in good English, with little effort spent on images. I did the assembly myself, preset with the mindset that it was going to take a full day from reading the previous reviews. It took me 6 hours from opening box to hunting from it, working at a casual pace. Tips: 1) assemble the platform (first step) on a flat working surface if possible. This made the platform assembly and first leg connections easy. 2) a socket or impact really speed up the process. Keep in mind using the impact will remove some of the powder coating. The description does not do this product justice. It comes with extension pieces to attach a pop up blind easily, even if the pop up is up to 6ft wide. The ladder is very narrow, but climbable, and they were thoughtful in designing the top of the ladder so it flips up to serve as a handle to balance yourself as you access the top of the platform. It comes with stakes to anchor the ladder and platform to the ground. Accessing the ladder, however, is acrobatic. You can see in the vendor image and my pic that the bottom cross-brace is on all 4 sides, preventing you from just being able to walk under it. I plan to touch up some of the places where the powder coating was scratched off during shipment and assembly and possibly fill some of the square tubing ends with fast foam to deter critters and internal rust. Great value, especially when combined with a pop up blind and comparing against a conventional tower box blind. ... show more

  • Great platform for the money.
Well it arrived in a decent amount of time but like many other people I had some parts missing but I called the manufacturer and they sent me a whole new stand. It does take a while to assemble and the instructions aren't very thorough but if you have common sense it goes together fairly easy. When assembled this thing is solid as a rock, it does not shake or twist, and it doesn't make anymore noise than any regular treestand and would. Overall i think it is a great product, they just might be better off not using FedEx to ship them. The only thing I would change would be to make the ladder at least 12 inches wide, the 9 inch ladder just doesn't give enough room to place both feet at the same level. And I think they should include an optional handrail with it because if you are using it to just put a pop up blind on like I am then it is a bit dangerous as you could fall out of it I made my own handrails but the option would have been nice. I guess you get what youh pay for. ... show more

  • Great overall platform once it's all set up and put together
Pay close attention to the directions. Lay everything out and make sure proper bolt sizes go into proper holes. Once it is all together it is a really nice and sturdy platform. I put a wood floor down, carpet on top of that and covered it with a pop up blind. Looks amazing!!. I would recommend this for anyone who hunts and doesn't have a good enough tree to put a stand on. ... show more

  • flimsy ladder
The stand is very solid. But the ladder is very flimsy. With the ladder going through the center hole, there is no way to angle the ladder making is easier to climb.

  • Instructions were not that good but pretty easy to figure out
Instructions were not that good but pretty easy to figure out. I put a 5X5 box blind on it and it is holding up good.

  • Great stand for the money.
Very pleased! For the price you can’t beat it. A lot of the reviews complain about the instructions, but I didn’t have a problem with it at all. Organize all of the pieces and it goes together with no problem. The ladder that comes with it is useless. Really small.

  • Great budget platform
Great "BUDGET" friendly elevated blind stand. Instructions are not horrible just not good. The parts don't come with any identifiers, so you have to remove all items from all three boxes, and figure out where they fit. It's not a deal breaker, if you are looking for a budget blind stand, but it is time consuming. (HINT : the larger cross sections with the center holes go to the very top). The metal is thin walled, and not very assuring, and the protective coating on the metal flakes off when you connect the parts together with the provided screws (no matter how careful you are, it will flake off). After I assembled I used spray on, truck bed liner to add a coating to hopefully protect it, or it will rust, as you will see with the first rusty rain the goes into the hollow metal poles that construct the stand. (guess you can cap those with something to prevent rain water from entering and rusting from the inside out). You have to take an inventory of all the parts, including screws, the boxes came beat with holes, most likely from shipping, but I was missing parts, two metal cross sections and screws. I called the customer service got the parts to me within 3 days (not bad). Overall its a good elevated stand, the ladder section and the trap door are a bit tight, I'm 6'1 200lbs, and its a tight squeeze. The metal seems thin but it held myself and my daughter perfectly without any swaying. I would recommend this if you are budget conscious, but don't know how long it will last before the elements take its toll as is. ... show more

  • Do not buy unless you are looking for cheap.
Directions - terrible. Detail in directions - terrible. No labels on parts to determine what to use where. No diagram of hardware to easily identify which one to use where. Took 10 times longer to assemble than it could have with good instructions. No easy access to ladder, especially when clothed for cold weather. Ladder is small, narrow, and flimsy. If you are looking for cheap, fine, but know what you are getting. ... show more
