The L'homme Ideal line is just fantastic, I own 4 different version & love each one. For me personally they last for most of the day. If your a smoker just spray a bit extra as that will diminish almost any cologne you wear & not make it last as long. While I do wear a lot of stuff this smell is very different then most things out there. I do rotate this out with the other version. As I mentioned before I find each one fantastic. If you can sample it first I would do so, as this scent profile may not be for everyone, but everyone should give it a try. I don't care about season because I will wear what ever I like when ever I like. So for me I could use this in every season of the year.

This is as described. Excellent smelling cologne. Top notes are Almond, Spices, Lavender, Bergamot, Rosemary and Thyme; middle notes are Cherry, Vanilla, Incense and Bulgarian Rose; base notes are Leather, Tonka Bean and Sandalwood. The batch was also new. (2J01 - 6 months old)

I've become a "frag head" recently (in 2022), but one of my first "big" purchases was Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EdP. This men's perfume is still one of the best things I own and I never get tired of smelling it. If I had to describe it, I would say "cherry tobacco," but it's much classier than that; leather, sandalwood, and tonka bean play quite a supporting cast. If you're looking for something unique that projects within arms distance and has several hours of longevity, you can't go wrong with L'Homme Ideal EdP.

As pricey as this cologne is, you’d think you’d be able to smell it on someone next to you. My son loves cologne and was stoked to get this for his birthday. I can always smell whatever he’s wearing when he walks in. However, I couldn’t smell him after he put it on sitting across the room. He said that he could smell it and while it does smell good, it didn’t last long at all. Highly disappointed.

At first when I first tested this on my arm, I didn’t like it so much. The alcohol overpowers for the first 20 minutes of the scents life on either skin or clothes. When I actually smelled the fragrance, I fell in love. Best way to describe it is a sweet and smoky vanilla fragrance with a heavy dose of cherry. But the smoke in this fragrance is not like a Gaiac wood or an oud. It’s more smooth like a cedar wood with incense, it’s so subtle yet it does the job. I haven’t done a test yet because I bought a winter time fragrance in the spring; how interesting! But I can tell this will be a new signature winter fragrance of mine. By the way if you are a fan of Aqua Di Gio Profumo or anything from aqua di gio or Parfums de Marly Layton, give this one a go for sure. This scent lasts about 7 hours on skin and roughly 10 hours on clothes. Solid fragrance for around the $60 range coming from a $142 and $230 price point. Don’t worry about quality either, the quality in this fragrance is also very good too. Nothing smells cheap, or synthetic.
