The stopper doesn't hold the chain tight enough to keep beads on securely. I bought plastic stoppers you use on back of wire earrings. That works perfectly. I love that you can change it out whenever you want a different look.

Buying these was such a mistake. They came completely tangled and when I finally extracted one and put a pendant on it, the clasp opened and the necklace fell off within a few hours. That pendant is really emotionally significant to me, so I’m so lucky that I found it at all after this incredibly low-quality product failed to do its one job.

The ‘needle end’ is very thin so you can string almost anything as long as it has a hole big enough for the chain to go through. The clasp is not real secure so don’t pull on it much.
