Description

Our gym climbing rope is made from durable braided sisal. The climbing rope offers the best grip and is extremely durable. Heat shrunk vinyl sleeves cover the end of the rope along. This heavy-duty sisal helps prevent the rope from fraying, increasing longevity. Top of the climbing rope has a head ring for easy knotting to any sturdy anchor point, no mounting bracket needed. Spliced knotted loop for easy knotting to any sturdy anchor point. Measures 1.5" in diameter, length available in 6', 10', 15', 20', 25', 30'. 40', 50'. This rope is an excellent tool for building upper body strength, improving grip, burning fat, and increasing endurance in physical education, wrestling, gymnastics, military, and cross-fit settings. I ordered this rope for my teen daughter because she loves climbing. We tied/secured this in our Pines, on a high branch. She used this rope quite a bit. It was left outside and seemed to fair well in the weather, but unfortunately it did not fair well against the squirrels. This has nothing to do w/the ropes integrity because those tree rats are chewing machines. The rope is actually still usable because it's SO thick, but those squirrels really gnawed on it. We ended up having to take it down to keep the squirrels from ruining it completely. Overall this rope is sturdy and did well in the weather. Put rope in tree and seemed fine. Testing the rope the black handle pulled off on first pull. Not pleased. Now I got a rope 20 foot up in a tree and I cannot trust that the looped end was put together in a safer manner. Bummed Update: Spoke with company. We hung this rope from a tree in our backyard and our whole family has learned to climb a rope. Really well. It is great exercise and a fun game of mental focus. I love battle ropes and they have gotten so pricey. Everyone is jacking up prices due to gyms closing during COVID19 Quarantine. These are priced fairly for the length and comfortable to use.

Great for climbing. We installed on our outdoor jungle gym. The bottom has a shrink sealed black plastic of some sort to keep the rope from fraying. If it comes off, it will fray. With kids climbing regularly, ours came off and we decided to let it just fray. Aside from that it's a great rope.
