Honestly it's a perfect size. I was a little leery of it but my kitchen is 16ft by 8ft and it's the right size for me. I'm 5'4 and it's the right height so I don't have to bend down to use it. The front 2 wheels are locking so that's a plus and definitely a good amount of storage. The drawer and shelf space is pretty deep i can put a large deep fat fryer or air fryer in there. The single rod for the outside is to hang a towel over the rod doesnt come out for like paper towels just so yall know. We did one of those peel and stick adhesive wraps on the top to match our current counter tops (weirdly enough found that at dollar tree!) And getting 2 of those wraps were the perfect size with about 3 inches on each side for wiggle room. I do highly recommend this, I had spent literally 7 hours looking at islands on amazon and I'm 100% happy I decided this one. The cart arrived in a good time frame. It had a few small chips when it arrived, but, after spending a whole day assembling this, I can live with it. This took a solid 7 hours to assemble by myself. You don’t need 2 people, but, I did ask for help with the large door and drop leaf. The directions are horrible!! All PICT’s, nothing written and items aren’t even in alphabetical order, lol, it’s Chinese!, But, everything lined up well, and did not need a drill. I’m a 93# 62 year old woman. Everything lined up well, except, for one hole for the drop leaf. This cabinet is the perfect size for my needs and looks good. I would recommend if you are up for building it with so many pieces by picture only. Cart does seem solid, but will get further support for the drawer, as it is a wonderful size, but, I feel, is fragile. ... show more

We really do love this piece as it’s great for the additional storage since our new apartment is a little smaller so it helped us a ton in that area. The quality is great and if taken care of it will definitely last. The only thing worth mentioning is you should use a hand drill to put it together bc the little screwdriver will probably take you much longer if you don’t, you’ll definitely want a second person to help assemble it and with both of those things in mind, it still took my husband and I about 2.5-3 hours to get it completed. So make sure you have the time. Also! Screws D and E look exactly the same and can be used in some of the same places so be super mindful when using and if you have the bags open next to one another. Also, the A1 screw does exist, but it’s in a little pouch next to the J bag. ((: ... show more

Seems like it's a pretty good island, but unfortunately the holes for the extension piece were drilled on the wrong side, so it attaches backwards to the rest of the island. Pretty frustrating to figure that out after 2+ hours of assembly on the final two steps
