Grumbacher Linseed Oil has a number of uses in oil painting. It can be used as a paint binder ingredient when mixing colors from powdered pigments, in oil painting medium recipes and added directly to oil paints to make colors glossy and fluid. Described as an oil medium but all I recieved was straight linseed oil. Not in a tin but rather in a bottle. Not too big an issue as I just used it to mix my own medium, but a little disappointing.
