When I received this pillow I followed the instructions as to open the pillow and unroll and let breathe at least 2 hours to let it expand to capacity. I did so. After two hours it did not expand. I included a pic it only expanded 1 and 1/2 inches per the pic. Its supposed to get at least 5-6.7 inches thick per the description on amazon and their own website and I watched other peoples review videos to see how big theirs expanded to. All looked bigger than what I had. So, I waited 24 hours later and contacted the company like they said in the box it came with postcards in there stating to NOT contact Amazon to contact them directly. Which I did. They contacted me overnight which I expected since they are in China I believe since their email had Chinese words in it. They asked for my amazon order number which I gave right away and waited two days and received NO answer from the company. I wrote them a third time to ask if they will do anything and if Not I will go through Amazon. Which after 5 days I just contacted Amazon since they never replied to me. Thankfully they gave me a refund after I returned they pillow. I am gonna see and try and order it again and see if it lives up to how others received their pillows. I'm hoping for a good outcome! Fingers crossed. If not back to Amazon! ***Update*** Received another one after I ordered a new one after getting a refund for the first one. I gotta say that as soon as I unpacked this one and opened it to let it breathe it immediately expanded to like 5 inches...what its supposed to do. I believe the first one I received was a fluke, this one was much better. I let it breathe the two hours and over night. It expanded the full size and I used it once and it is wonderful and love it!! I would just go through Amazon if you have any issues. The company doesn't really reply very well so better to just go through Amazon...They get the issues taken care of right away. Can't go wrong with Amazon! Now I am very pleased and Have changed my stars to 4! Was a one for the first part of this reveiw...but now a 4. Thank you. ... show more

My "old" contour shaped foam pillow is destined to be moved to our RV and I need a new one for the house. I decided on this unusually shaped pillow and thought to give it a try - after all, it can be returned if not satisfied. As it is, I am quite satisfied. After three days the pillow has still not expanded to the full 5-6" as stated by the seller (more likely a bit over 4" at the ends and a little less in the center). However, I still find it satisfactory for my needs and tastes. The difference (for me) is not enough to complain to the seller and request a replacement or refund. ... show more

As a side-sleeper, I couldn't believe how much the little curve on this pillow helped - especially considering it's memory foam, which tends to hold only the one shape. I used to have to cram pillows against my shoulder, and bend them out of shape to lie properly on them, but that little curve makes this completely unnecessary. (I'm about 5'10''-5'11", and average-sized, in case that helps.) It's sooooo comfortable. Obviously, your mileage may vary, but for me, it's dream to sleep on, pun intended. The memory foam has held up pretty well, so far. I've beaten the crap out of this thing every day for a year and a half, like folding it in half to prop myself on for hours (I'm disabled), and it still pops back into shape come sleepy-time. I don't like giving immediate reviews - or giving reviews at all - but this pillow merits a thumbs-up from me. Definitely buying another. ... show more

I really like this pillow. It is great for side sleepers. It's very comfortable and I generally sleep well on it. I'm personally not a fan of the "cooling" case. It's extremely slippery and was actually really warm, to me. The pillow would not stay where I wanted it and slid out from under my head repeatedly. I very much wanted something cooling, which is how I found this pillow in the first place, but I absolutely cannot sleep directly on that case, literally at all. I very nearly returned the whole thing because of it. I put a regular queen pillow case over it, and pinned it with a diaper pin to keep it from sliding off. See pictures. I used a diaper pin specifically so it doesn't come undone and poke me while I'm sleeping. It works well. I must say that, as much as I enjoy this pillow on the day to day, I do not find it particularly supportive and it does not relieve pain for me, at all. For that, I need a more firm contour cervical pillow. I do not agree with the idea that I should stick with a pillow and put up with pain for weeks until my body adjusts to it. My body does not need to adjust to a pillow, a pillow needs to adjust to my body. This is not that pillow. This is merely a comfort pillow, imo. I tend to get bored with using the same pillow all of the time, and have a pillow rotation going. This pillow is my main every day pillow. A cervical pillow is what I use for instant relief when I have pain or stiffness, and I use a shredded memory foam pillow when I just want to lay my head on a cloud. I also like this one for naps on the couch. All in all, I do not regret this purchase, and sleep very happily on this pillow, most nights.
