I bought these to tack down landscape fabric. They worked. I decided to pull up the fabric after a year. While they did rust they are also still strong. I have others at a couple different spots in the garden i am leaving as is. They easily tear through thicker black plastic even with the rings.

I bought these garden stakes to hold down a woven wire fence to keep the dogs from getting out from under the fence, it didn't work, not because of a faulty product but because of strong German Shepherds. These are good, sturdy pins for your landscaping fabric. They are long to go deep and were thick enough not to bend when pushing them into the soil. This is my 2nd time buying them.

These stakes make it so much easier to secure any freeze protection wraps. In the past, I just weighed down my plant freeze protection with bricks or a heavy object. Half the time I would find that the wind during the night whipped the protective wrap off of my plants and they were exposed to the cold wind and ice. These stakes are a game changer and made getting ready for another freeze so much easier. They easily secure the frost blankets and plant covers in the wind and keep the protective blankets from flying off of the plants. They are also easily removed from the ground for reuse after the freeze is over and temps go above 32 degrees. ... show more
