These are smaller than the average lacrosse ball and much softer. These are for beginners and typically used with fiddlesticks as well. We have enjoyed playing with the fiddlestick and my younger 5-year-old trying to teach him how to play with them. Tried to post comparison photos of the balls next to regular lacrosse balls. These definitely aren't for use with massage as some sometimes tend to buy lacrosse balls for. ... show more

We had a kids "lacrosse" party and had planned to use these balls with the Champion Sports Lacrosse set; however, because the balls weren't soft, we went with tennis balls instead. Still, they are nice balls and do everything you expect them to do.
