I love dark roast. The darker the better. I haven't found any that have the flavor I've been looking for until this. The others have a bitterness but not this. Groundwork knows how to roast a dark properly. I am also going to try their Round Midnight and Black Gold. I don't like darks that have hints of stone fruit. I prefer cocoa, dark chocolate, caramel, marshmallow. Grondwork hits them all. ... show more

If you like dark roasts this is the best coffee ever. I used to buy it at Fresh Market for way more than this price. So glad I found it on Amazon and set up a subscription. It’s my favorite coffee.

At long last, I finally found my holy grail coffee! Perfectly roasted, super smooth, not acidic, and never bitter. While listed as a dark roast, to me it's more of a med/dark. I've tried many beans and this one is my #1 favorite.

This is really good coffee and we are repeat buyers. Two of the 11 bags we've purchased have come with a hole and thats a bummer as its not returnable. We taped it up and I'm undecided if we should use it. For what it's worth, we don't use sharp objects to open the box.
