Good sturdy box. solid lock and the drawers, while they do not have a latch, you have to give it a tug to open it. Meaning it will not just slide open if you move your box.

The Grizzly "Green" boxes are some of the best tool cabinets for the money. I'll confess I'm a big fan of Snap-On, Kennedy, Proto, etc., but those are pricey boxes. Cheaper brands, to include once-respected names, are just too flimsy to take seriously. The Grizzly boxes are very sturdy, but at prices that are slighly higher than inferior brands. It's well worth spending the extra few dollars (this may mean another 100 for a larger rolling cabinet, but still worth the investment) if you use tools a lot. The packaging is stellar, too: Two double-thick walled cardboard boxes with openings for grips. I've had too many cabinets arrive dented, even with Styrofoam packing. All Grizzly items I've ordered have arrived undamaged, largely due to their care in packaging. Conclusion: Unless you want to spend the many $$ for the Big Boy brands, I don't think you can do better than Grizzly for top- and middle-chests, or for rolling cabinets. Eric C. Mine arrived super fast directly from Grizzley! Took 4 days. Arrived well packed and 100% perfect condition! I'm a full time RV'er and make jewelry and this fits perfectly in an empty space. I think it's over priced by a little bit. I paid $225 Feb 2022 for those in the future and there's plenty of shipping and supply chain issues so I'm just happy to get one! Quality is fine. No it's not Snap -On quality but it doesn't cost $3000 either! Drawers are smooth but just the typical steel hardware. I searched local HD and Lowes for their brands but neither had anything even close and the ones I saw were no better quality than this.... ... show more

The overall quality of this middle chest is top tier. Very solid construction with a nice attention to detail. The powder coat finish is consistent and glossy with no imperfections I can find on the edges or corners. Outside handles are high grade and provide an easy grip for when you need to move this thing. The real winner with this chest is the drawers though. They are glass smooth on mine and support the weight well even when heavily loaded. Additional nice touches are the key lock and included foam on the top for stacking chests. Also comes with what looks like security mounting hardware for a top chest. While a little more expensive than competitors, I think the heirloom quality of this chest more than makes up for the price. ... show more

    • Surprisingly good....so far.
I figure this is meant for a garage tool box, but I use it under my truck bed tool box. Although, it could have a lock that is more sturdy, it locks and is a great addition to my pickup.

The drawers are tight and slide easy, good room for some large tools. I use this tool box in my service truck and use the top to hold suns other tools that are too large to fit inside. Overall, great quality and would recommend.

This was an excellent quality. Drawers handle weight very well, smooth and quiet. I have a Craftsman cabinet, and this is much higher quality. I only wish it came in red to match my other tool cabinets, but if I was buying from scratch, I would look to the Grizzly brand. A plus-made in Taiwan not China. ... show more
