    • Cool way to lock a drawer
Being a bit of a techy and thinking that having a draw that locked/unlocked with a card would be a fun novelty I figured i'd give this a whirl on my night stand table and I think it works fairly well. The lock itself can probably broken into fairly easily (it's made of plastic) so I'm not sure how much security it really adds so I'd say it's more of a tamper resistant lock but overall it does the trick. Installation was a little harder than imagined and i'm happy there were some videos on this site to help me figure it out or I'm not sure I would have put in the effort to get it to work. Once I watched the video a few times install wasn't too bad as all the necessary hardware and templates are provided. Overall I'm happy with the product and since i'm not locking up anything too valuable i'm not too concerned with the potential lack of "real" security. With that said, what I might try to do eventually is build a box to hide valuables in and then hide that in a fakey wall vent or wall trim and then use this lock to secure and lock that hidden drawer in place. ... show more

The package had all the parts and tools you needed for the installation. It could've done better with an illustrated manual. But if you have searched for this product somewhere else, you probably have watched the instruction video already. If you don't or are just a newbie like me, go to Aliespress, and search the keyword "digital lock" You can find a tutorial video under the same product listing. By the way, it is about $3 cheaper at the other commercial website, but Amazon is the fastest. Make your own decision. Good luck! ... show more

    • Great until the battery dies..
Installed it in July in a Kallax Ikea 4 cube and door. A lot of adjusting to get it to connect correctly. Stuck it down and could not get to connect using the template and ended up breaking the tip off of a Calphalon knife. Finally got it working and all set and programmed. Now it is Early February and we hear beeping. Figure out it is the door. Try and open it with the card and it just beeps. It will not open and just continues to beep. I have to pull the shelf out and have to tear open to back of the enclosure to get to the lock and change the batteries. So the enclosure is totally ruined. I am glad it was a cheap Ikea door and not an expensive piece of furniture. ... show more

I hesitated to buy from this seller after reading the reviews. I decided to give it a try anyway. It took me a while to figure out how to put the lock in place with the instructions provided. The lock works perfectly fine for me. I wish there’s a video of demonstration, just to save us time!

    • Fun little lock to use on drawers or cabinets
RIXIANG Magnetic Cabinet Locks Hidden Safe Secret Compartment Furniture,Concealment Furniture Shelf,Kid Hidden Drawer Locks for Children,DIY Wooden Cupboard,Punch-Free,Cable, M1 Cards/Tags, Black Being a tech geek, I just had to get this to add card access to a drawer. It works as intended, but either needs installed with a handle less drawer or hidden compartment. Wouldn't take much to force it open due to its plastic housing the holds the locking mechanism. Simple install with provided guides to line up the lock. Two small cards provided to unlock device. A larger card that is used to program the smaller cards to the device known as the management card. There were no instructions provided in my box so relied on the videos on this listing. However, their videos don't have a wire sticking out the side like mine does, so not sure what it's for. Will do some researching later to figure it out. Comes with necessary screws and a small screwdriver for your installation needs. 2 sided tape provided to make it easier to setup correctly and then secure in place with screws. ... show more
