We bought the much larger Grizzly 60 cooler for ourselves, and it has performed EXTREMELY well. Not one one thing I could think to improve. This was a gift, and the person who received it absolutely LOVES it. She can't stop talking about how good this Grizzly 20 is. I see a lot of banter about Grizzly vs Yeti...Get a Grizzly! Much less cost, and they're built the same way. Plus Grizzly coolers are rated for a freaking bear attack on them--Yeti doesn't have that rating. Grizzly coolers are just amazing, three days of 90F temps, and still have most of the ice in there. Easy to clean, easy to use (pre-cool it by puting a bag of ice inside, and sealing it up 24 hours before you head out on your excursion--you won't regret it). I already had the 60 qt and loved it, but I needed something smaller from time to time. Yes this is expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's built like a tank and will probably last until the apocalypse. It is heaver than a comparably sized Igloo, but unless you're a small child or elderly, it's not that bad. This cooler is made extremely well. I did alot of research prior to purchase. The 20q size limits how much ice you can put in it, but it keeps the ice for a long time. The color is also awesome.

I’m not sure this is actually a Grizzly cooler. I have used a friend’s before and the ice stayed frozen for days. After using this one twice the ice has melted within hours both times. Very disappointing after splurging for what I thought would be worth it :(.

Cooler does do a great job of keeping things cold. You can not fit 12oz cans stacked two high or taller bottles like corona. Not sure why they didn't allow the extra ¼" needed for this. It also came with some marks and minor scratches possibly from friction during shipping. Handle is sturdy, rubber pads on the bottom grip very well. I use it on the boat and beach as well as in my truck during the week to hold cold water. Color is cool too. ... show more
