This is a great little red dot. Clear, crisp dot. No halo. Well worth the cost. This was my second one. First one went on a Henry Hush .357 rifle. Liked it so much I bought another for a Ruger .22 pistol. After several hundred rounds through both they have held zero perfectly.

Anodized aluminum body, overall shape is similar to an SRO and its RMR footprint but I wouldn’t call it a clone. The optic looks and feels good. The material is thinner than what you’ll find on a Holosun so I wouldn’t consider it duty grade but it should do well for range/training. Basically an OK little dot probably designed for the airsoft market but on the beefier side so it can be marketed at real guns. The mounting kit options are pretty nice though it has the super wide footprint so may fit awkward on some pistols. Set it up on a 22 target pistol that has a full non-reciprocating top rail figuring it would be safest on the low caliber stuff. The adjustment has no 'clicks' so it is a bit tricky to judge adjustment while zeroing and it has the same problem as most cheaper optics where it won't settle into the adjustment. You make a change and the recoil then sort of walks the dot towards the change rather than accepting the change and holding. Makes it a pain to zero which isn't great especially because the battery is bottom mount so it must be removed to change it and will then probably need to be readjusted to zero. Dot itself seems OK for brightness and clarity and install is easy enough at least with the picatinny. Overall probably OK for a plinking setup but doesn't feel trustworthy for anything duty. ... show more

I mounted this on my Ruger LC Carbine chambered in 10mm. With the riser installed it brings the RDS up to a perfect height that aligns perfectly with my normal cheek weld. As a bonus, my pop up iron sights easily co-witness with this RDS. The build quality seems fairly substantial but not on the same level as some of the major name brands. That said, this is holding up well with the milder recoil of a 10mm in a 7+ pound carbine but I wouldn't trust it on a 10mm in a handgun. The dot is easy to see and the brightness levels work as they should allowing fairly simple adjustment depending on the ambient lighting. For the money, this is a good optic for a lighter recoiling firearm. ... show more

This is a pretty nice little red dot. It has a very wide aperture and mounts safely and securely and is nice for various models even if you need the riser. I also like the protective cover that keeps it safe from scratches, dents, mud, and dust.
