Grip Grab produces quality cycling products for a quality price. There were cheaper options out there but I thought it worthwhile to pay a little extra for the Grip Grab brand. The helmet cover fit my large helmet and I should be good to go if I get caught in a rainstorm.

I've commuted a couple of times in the rain with it now, and it works well. The fabric is a light, tough ripstop which has very little give in it, so it's a little bit of a tight fit on my helmet, but the drawcord around the rim hold it on well. Decent quality for the price, but I was only barely able to put it on over my size Large Smith Forefront 2 mountain bike helmet (with a visor). If you have a size XL visor helmet, forget it. Should be fine for size Small and Medium visor helmets. As you can see in the photo, it does not quite fully cover the back of the helmet. Hopefully is does not pop off in the wind. The helmet covers on Amazon seem to be made for road helmets without visors. The GripGrab was the largest I could find based on the dimensions published in the Amazon description. ... show more

The cycle helmet cover was of good quality but too small. It barely fit over the helmet with the visor. It most likely will fit a helmet without a visor.
