The GripGrab Bike Helmet Cover Waterproof is a protective rainproof wet weather shield for your cycling helmet and head, which will also significantly enhance your visibility when cycling in traffic. With a simple pull-over design and one-size-fits-all profile thanks to the elasticated drawstring; this is the ideal solution to keep the snow, wind, rain, and mud off your head when cycle commuting. This cover is also quite handy as insect protection, to keep small flies and mosquitos out of your helmet in cool or damp conditions. Reflective elements are featured on both the front and rear as well as on both left and right sides. This waterproof cycling helmet cover fits both helmets with and without a visor. It is compatible with sporty cycling helmets and may not fit with skate-style helmets or similar. After use, simply clean with a damp wipe and leave to dry. Do not store away when wet, but always dry with a clean cloth or hang to dry. Don't store under direct sunlight, to avoid fading of the colours. This cover is machine washable at 30° C, we recommend putting it in an extra washing bag. This cover is a unisex product for men and women. Product Details: Material: Polyester 55%, Polyurethane 45%. I've commuted a couple of times in the rain with it now, and it works well. The fabric is a light, tough ripstop which has very little give in it, so it's a little bit of a tight fit on my helmet, but the drawcord around the rim hold it on well. Decent quality for the price, but I was only barely able to put it on over my size Large Smith Forefront 2 mountain bike helmet (with a visor). If you have a size XL visor helmet, forget it. Should be fine for size Small and Medium visor helmets. As you can see in the photo, it does not quite fully cover the back of the helmet. Hopefully is does not pop off in the wind. The helmet covers on Amazon seem to be made for road helmets without visors. The GripGrab was the largest I could find based on the dimensions published in the Amazon description. ... show more
