I left my groceries in the back seat of my vehicle overnight it was at least 100 degrees in vehicle (insert crying emoji) and the smell was horrible it was in my leather seats. I tried a few things nothing helped ie. vinegar and a some leather cleaner (didn't work); so I researched and came across the reviews and this works as soon as I used it. Picture this: we’d just gotten a new leather sectional. We were so happy. Then our precious baby granddaughter fell asleep on it - totally fine - and had a blowout. But we didn’t know it because we don’t disturb sleeping babies! So by the time she woke up, and we cleaned her up, well the mess had traveled to the depths & mechanisms - leather, fabric, metal…it was disastrous. We searched & searched for a leather cleaner (because days after the incident we could tell errrr smell the cleaners we used didn’t quite do the job). Seriously though, if you’re selling a couch, say that it was your cats pee spot before folks pay for a U-Haul and travel an hour to get to your place. But if you find yourself in the same situation I did, this spray is a GOD SEND. It cleared out the cat pee smell SO WELL. Granted I definitely need to get a second bottle so I can keep cleaning the couch every day until it’s fully gone, but you have to shove your nose into the cracks to get a whiff of that nasty stuff. This is magic in a bottle. I purchased a vintage designer bag a while back, and while the bag was overall in excellent condition, it had one terrible flaw: the hideous odor. It smelled as though it had been in an old lady chain smoker’s closet who had locked the bag away for many decades - the smell of mildew, vintage cigarette smoke, plus whatever else is in the closet of the elderly that give it this terrible odor. Nothing I did would get the odor out, I tried some highly rated leather cleaners, inserting a box of baking soda to absorb the odor, stuffing it with newspaper to absorb the odor, placing scented inserts, inserting Moso Natural carbon charcoal inserts…nothing worked. Not only that, but the odor was transferring to my hands and to the things I put inside!! When I read the reviews for Griot’s Garage Odor Neutralizing Leather Conditioner, I was incredulous that it would be effective, but I was desperate and nearly ready to part with this beautiful yet terribly stinky purse, so I decided to give it a try, and am I sure glad I did. After just one application to all leather surfaces, this stuff has removed about 90% of the odor. I can still detect a hint of it, but only if I put my nose physically to the leather. I will most likely do another application, but at this point, even if this is the best it will be, Griot’s has already paid for itself as I no longer have to get rid of the purse! I am so happy!
