These barbecue tools are Big. They are also very nicely made, and obviously a lot of thought went into designing and developing them. They are also going to be greatly appreciated by a niche market: the big-hands crowd. This group is, I expect, preponderantly male—but not all. There are a number of females who also possess big hands and/or a strong, solid grip, and would wield these tools with ease and enjoyment. But it IS a niche market; and I think that should be made plain in the listing. This isn’t sexism, or gender bias, but fact. I myself have a strong grip, but I don’t enjoy using these tools. They’re just Too Big. Big around, that is. I’m happy with the tools’ sizes, and not really bothered by their length. But trying to work with handles of that diameter feels all wrong, like picking up a fork to eat your baked beans, but it feels like you’re holding a garden trowel. So: I regard these as five-star tools—in the right hands.

I chose this set mostly because of the bristle free brush and scraper. It looked heavy duty enough to clean my cast iron grates and griddle. I haven't seen anything like that before. The scraper seems a little thin, but it isn't bendy, I tried. The thin blade will actually be effective in scraping the cast iron. The brush part is really rigid too. The whole tool is pretty heavy. I would have liked the handle to be coated in silicone, it would have been more comfortable, but it's fine. The construction of the scraper and brush seems to be quality. By itself this would be a pricey tool. All the tools have nice, metal hangers that are large enough to hang on hooks that may be thicker. I would have liked the tongs to have had a lock, so they wouldn't be open all the time. The tongs are ok, they don't seem as high quality as the brush. The spatula is heavy! I noticed it had a serrated edges and a bottle opener. The serrated edge I can use, I don't want to open bottles with my spatula. I would have liked the silicone handle to go all the way around the handle though. The metal part is uncomfortable in my hand. The fork has the same deal with the handle, it is not as quite as uncomfortable as the spatula, but it isn't the weight of the spatula. The fork seems to be lesser quality than the spatula and brush, but ok. This set is by no means cheaply made, some of the tools just seem lesser quality than others. I'd say the price range is good for this bbq set. I look forward to cooking out this Spring!

So - this is your standard 4 piece BBQ tool set - and they are really nice and large so you won't burn yourself flipping a burger or rotating a hot dog. I really like that this set includes the grill brush it has. This is not the typical wire bristle brushes where, if some of the bristles break off and end up in your food, you're going to have a bad day. This is the weird spiral kind that WON'T break off on your grate. How well that translates to keeping my grill surface clean remains to be seen - but I like that I won't be gambling with my kid's gastrointestinal system after each cook anymore. So why 4 stars and not 5? Quite simply - the price. $50 is a steep asking price for just 4 utensils. If this set was $20 or $25 - I'd rate it 5 stars for sure. Overall - it's a very nice set - just a bit pricey for 4 pieces.

These are a nice hefty set for the grill! I mainly bought this for the grill scraper because the wire bristles always come out and get stuck in your food and I had enough of it this scraper is fantastic! No wire bristles it’s almost like a large Brillo with a scraper and I love it. The only down side to this set is they are huge I’m a small woman and these were a bit heavy and large in my hands but my boyfriend will love these so good thing he’s the grill master and not me :). All & all great set! Esp with the rubber handles!

This comes with the tongs, grill fork, metal spatula and the grill cleaner. They're all beefy and seem well made. The grill cleaner works great on the round grill wire but a bit more tricky on the metal triangle shaped bars on my more expensive grill. Still cleaned it though. The tongs don't open as wide as my cheaper pair of grilling tongs but they have a nice silicone inlaid material on the handle and a metal loop at the base by the lock. I like this set.

Mostly very sturdy set. The tongs feel a bit like him to me, but time will tell if that’s an issue. I ran them through the dishwasher just to test that claim and they came out ok. The bottle opener in the spatula is a nice touch. Might be a bit on the pricey side, but do look nice and large. There is a coupon knocking the price down now, which helps the value.

Overall quality of these tools is very nice. The grill scrubber head feels especially nice although the handle feels a little cheap comparatively, but still sturdy. The tongs, fork and spatula are also a bit longer to help keep your hands back a bit from the grill and everything feels very well made. My one complaint on the spatula and fork is that the handle isn't the most comfortable to me. The rubber underneath doesn't go all the way out to the edge, so the metal can feel a little bit sharp depending on how you're holding it...but might vary from person to person and I didn't notice too much when actually using it.
