Over the years, I have left my 30 year old smoker out in the weather and decided to give her an update with a couple of repairs and a new coat of paint and decided to get a much needed cover, one large enough to fully cover the thing. This one is pretty good to protect my grill for at least two years and my old smoker should last me till "check-out time". This cover should last a few years, it is two ply with a semi padded foil vinyl liner inside. The outside plastic is just thick enough to last about two years in open weather and given as cheap as it was, that's a pretty good value. I've been using these grill covers to cover my yard furniture. So far they have held up to intense Florida sun and heavy rain storms great! They have Velcro straps on the sides that allow you to make the cover snug at the base to avoid it being blown off by the wind. I used to tilt my chairs or remove all of the cushions to keep the seats dry from the rain/ yard sprinklers, pollen, leaves, etc. These grill covers are much cheaper than what's sold as actual furniture covers and do a great job keeping my furniture safe from the elements.
