I wanted to like this case but after a day of use its drawbacks became annoying, and these are basic to the functions of a case. 1) The case is slippery enough for me to worry. And the thing is, it has a nice grip pattern, but that pattern looks like it's embedded in the plastic. On a Griffin Survivor Endurance case (in dark blue, for the same phone) the pattern is on the outside and is effective, and that case has (for me) a better feel overall. 2) The power button is very balky to press. Not a problem on the Survivor Endurance. 3) There is something about the geometry of the case and the protective raised edge that makes touch gestures along the right edge harder to access the screen. 4) As long as I'm comparing these two cases, I have to note that the Survivor Endurance is rated to protect from a 14-foot fall and this one is rated only for 6 feet. I guess there must be some design compromises to get the clear case (which I do like). ... show more

Case is slick. The ad photos look like there are tactile ridges on the edges, but those ridges are inside the case. Use a ring or pop-socket! Case fits snugly and all buttons function as necessary. Bezel around camera lenses is a great feature! The only negative review is that it yellowed in a month! I understand it would be near impossible to have a case be clear for eternity, but for $20, it should’ve stayed clear longer than a month! The case fits well; the buttons are easy to activate. Hopefully it will provide the protection as-advertised and not discolor overtime. The price is higher than other competitive cases, but I bought this one based upon positive reviews (and negative reviews on others)
