I used a 3 fold approach to protect my Blackstone grill. It was important to address proper care and maintenance. So in addition to the grill I ordered the orange grill mat to keep it well oiled, dirt, dust, rust and debris free. It looks nice and fits well. Then I ordered the metal top with the handle in the front. It looks great and fits very well. Then I ordered the cover that covers the top, sides, legs almost all over. This fits well also and looks good in my outdoor kitchen with my smoker and propane grill. When cooking I can open all the grills I want to use all the space provided for each grill if if I'm only using one. It fits me and my needs. I'll be outdoors cooking a lot this year. I'm stocking my freezer now on meat specials and preparing for some happy times!! ... show more

To mention the star reviews: this item is indeed "light weight". Its extremely light and perfect for easy lifting and such. The negative of it is that it makes it not very "weatherproof" as its soo light that it blows off the grill during storms (even small storms). The aluminum is "water resistant" though. I cannot talk long term as I have not owned it very long. This item is made for the Blackstone grill. I have the 36" knock off nexgrill. It fits but it is huge. Covers the entire griddle top but slides around with tons of extra room. Can be both good and bad. Side vs rear grease catcher: this product CLAIMS to be updated to fit either the side or rear grease catcher. The problem is you CANNOT HANG THIS LID if you have the rear grease container (at least on the nexgrill knock off). The hanger pieces are way too short. They need to make and sell some sort of attachment to make this work. I am very disappointed in this part. Maybe the Blackstone has a skinnier rear grease catcher 🤔 but not sure. DENTS: like many other reviews, mine came in with several dents. This item is light weight and thin enough that anyone (even a child) could probably easily knock the dents out. It was a bit disappointing to watch someone open a gift and it have several dents. Product had foam on corners, but needs more throughout the sides for proper shipment to avoid these dents. The handle is nice and sturdy. I'd fear to grab it after it was near the hot grill though so be careful. If you use this and hang it on the back of the grill, I bet it would be very hot. Maybe a rubber handle cover or something to make it more clean up user friendly. The lid is loose and I fear in the long run either the grill edges or the cover underneath will become very scratched up. If you nudge it, it's like nails on a chalkboard. Going to bring damage to the grill and/or cover eventually with how often we use it. Overall: -Pros: light weight, nice clean look, protects griddle -Cons: too light, too big, cannot hang with rear grease drapes, dents in shopping I would not say this cover is "worth the price". This cover is great and will protect the griddle decently. If I knew before purchasing what I know now, I never would have spend $130 on this light piece of aluminum. This would be a nice item for a much much lower price. ... show more

This galvanized grill cover is very durable. It fits perfectly and does a great job of keeping objects like leaves and twigs off the Blackstone surface. Note that this cover will not keep rain or snow off of the grill surface. This cover is more for keeping off solid stuff, not water. I would still recommend a full grill cover...the Blackstone grill cover fits nicely over this metal cover. But if you are grilling a lot, multiple times a day, or your weather is dry, it's a great thing to keep your grill leaf free. I'm really happy with the cover and would order again. ... show more

Flybold 36" griddle cover is the perfect solution to keeping rain/dirt/leaves off your griddle when you're not using it. After three different "tarp-like" griddle covers failing to do the job or last through one winter, THIS diamond-plate beauty is the one for life. It fits on the griddle snug enough to keep out rain so no rusty griddle top! The cover has sturdy hooks to hang the cover while using the griddle, which, sadly, I cannot use with my grease catcher cup attached at the back of the griddle. So, grease cups on the side shouldn't interfere with hanging the cover. I'm fine with it, in fact I put the cover over two barstools and used as a "table" to have my seasonings, tools and beer close at hand. You need this! Fits my 36’’ Blackstone griddle. Looks good. - Handles should have been assembled before the blue protection plastic so we don’t have to unscrew them to remove the plastic. I needed a screwdriver and a nut holder and spent 10 minutes unnecessarily. - I would not hang it on the griddle while cooking, the heat may damage it. ... show more
