Color: Midnight Black
For reference, I'm using this in epoxy. I do a lot of epoxy river type stuff, tables and boxes and whatnot. If you work with mica powders you know there is a difference in quality, and this product is cheap. Not a slag, its literally low cost. But it still has a nice sheen. I don't know if I would use as the full color in a professional product, but it's great as a base. For instance if you need a black base for color-shift mica, this is perfect. If you are doing an epoxy and wood coffee table you can be using 3 gallons of epoxy or more, and if you go by the standard of 3 to 4.5 ounces of mica powder per gallon, then the mica powder cost can add up. I use lower cost micas where I can, especially if no one will see it unless they crawl under the table. It doesn't dissolve as nicely as the more expensive micas. I bought the black and the orange, attempting to get an orange-black, but it mixed out more as orange dots interspersed with black dots. On the other hand it's a powder not liquid drops, so there will always be some of that. In all I am satisfied with the product I received and the money I spent. I saw one star reviews from people saying they only got half a jar. It doesn’t matter what size the container is, it matters how much product you received. If you are working with mica powders, and especially with epoxy, you should have measuring cups and/or digital scales. Measure the product. If you truly only got 50 grams instead of a hundred then I agree, one star end it back. Mine was half full and it measured out to 99.5 grams, and I’m sure there was a little still in the bag. Those that complain that they wasted epoxy and ruined their project because it was the wrong color: don’t buy a new product and go straight to epoxy. Get some of the silicone measuring cups sold here, fill with water to the 20 ml mark. Also get some of the 1/32 teaspoons sold here, add one spoonful, and stir. If you are using quality epoxy then it’s clear like water. If it isn’t the color you want in the water, it won’t be the color you want in epoxy. ... show more

  • THE most beautiful white!
Color: Midnight Black
I work with resin daily and have been searching for the perfect white mica for ages. I’ve tried every well known brand name, you tube and Instagram famous brands and have even ordered some from the UK. I have at least 30 jars of white mica. They all have their own beauty but just aren’t the perfect white for me. The luster white is absolutely PERFECT!! It’s a super bright pearly/glittery white. It’s so white it makes most of my other whites look like a cream or beige. I just epoxied the top of a vintage desk that I refurbed into a vanity with this luster white and a sprinkle of another brands shimmer white and it’s absolutely gorgeous. My husband who hates the look of vintage furniture, now loves the look of the desk. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, if you’re looking for the perfect bright glimmery white this is it!! To those people complaining about receiving it half full, do you not realize all mica powders are sold by WEIGHT not volume???? Some mica colors have a finer micron size and therefore will LOOK like a smaller than expected amount. The amount of mica you are getting in each of these bags is massive. Stop complaining and leaving bad reviews because your bag wasn’t filled to the rim with mica. I have the entire interference color set, the luster white, black and am now back ordering more colors. Each color gives me amazing results. Add just a touch to get a transparent color or a lot to get a beautiful opaque color. I use them for furniture, counters, canvas, wood panels, and molds. Works well with every application I’ve used it on! I’ve finally found my go to brand of mica. The ONLY negative thing I have to say about the brand is the packaging. It’s horrible. Almost all of my colors have come spilled in the box despite being sealed. The zipper closure on the bags ALWAYS rips off the bag the very first time they are opened and mica flys out each and every time I open them. I purchased 18oz jars to put all of them in which has solved that problem, but even trying to get it into the jar is a hassle and creates a mess. If you’re looking for highly pigmented mica that blends well with resin, this is it! I love it! ... show more

  • The True Red is actually red!
Color: True Red
The name of this color fits. I’ve had a heck of a time trying to find a true red mica powder. This was my 4th or 5th attempt. Everything else I got was way too pink. This really is a true red.

  • DON'T SNEEZE!
Color: Luster White
Whatever you do, do NOT sneeze or breathe anywhere near this bag when open. You'll never be glitter-free again. But the quality is stunning and the product is so versatile that in the end, it's worth it. ...Actually, you may just want to resign yourself to finding glitter in the most hilarious, mind-boggling of places. It'll happen no matter how careful you are. But that's the nature of this stuff no matter what brand you buy. I'll repurchase this again when I eventually do run out, though I'm far more likely to just want more colors long before then. Go for it. ... show more

  • Vivid Jade Mica Pearl - nice green color with shimmer
Color: Vivid Jade
Rich green color when mixed with clear polyurethane gloss varnish and airbrushed - very nice results at a good price - if spraying, be sure to strain at 190 microns - some of the sparkly glitter is a bit course/gritty - Vivid Jade mica is beautiful stuff.
