  • Should have bought one long ago.
Outstanding piece of equipment for sure. First off, I am a novice and I mainly use my air brush for repainting, and weathering my rc aircraft which are mostly made of EPO foam. I am so happy with the comfort of this gun, and for me it’s much easier to control this air brush as opposed to the regular air brushes like my Iwata. There is absolutely nothing with Iwata, but the Grex Tritium T3 just feels so much more natural in my hand compared to the pencil style air brushes. The quality is superb, and cleaning or removing the needle and nozzle are really made for ease of use. Since the nozzle is magnetic, they made it so if you need to spray with the nozzle off it magnetically sticks to the rear of the gun so you don’t loose it. The designers of this air brush really thought of everything. I’m very happy that I purchased this air brush, just wish I bought it long ago. And I have to give a shout out to Spray Gunner from where this was shipped from, they are in Fl. and I’m in Ct., I received it in 48 hrs. That’s quick! ... show more

  • Great airbrush, but can’t find anyone for repairs
The airbrush has been pretty reliable with very little issue. However, I need to find someone to repair/trouble shoot after a recent snag. I’ve replaced the nozzle kit, but am still struggling with bubbles in the paint reservoir. Tightened seals and now no air pressure. I need repairs/checkup, but it doesn’t seem that anyone works on these. Advice would be appreciated. I have a big job and need this done quickly. ... show more

  • Not worth it...
This product is very disappointing. It doesn't really work and it's messy. I wish I could return, but we (tried to) used it. I do not recommend this product.

  • however I did find the trigger to have amazing "feel" and it was very easy to control
I purchased this airbrush to use as a dedicated tool for clearcoating finished artwork (with.70 needle/nozzle). I decided to throw some paint in it and see what kind of results I could produce (with the .20 needle/nozzle), and wow I was pleasantly surprised at the detail this airbrush is capable of. If you are an experienced airbrush artist, the trigger style will take some getting used to, however I did find the trigger to have amazing "feel" and it was very easy to control. The build quality is fantastic. I spent several hours with this brush this weekend, and now constider this every bit as capable as my Iwata's and Harder and Steenbeck Infinity. It is that good! ... show more

  • The Perfect Airbrush
I own several spraying systems from airbrushes to HVLP systems, and the Tritium.TS airbrush ranks among the best designed I have used. It is a beautiful product to look at and it sprays unlike any airbrush you will use. Great 2-stage control delivers as little or as much liquid as needed, as narrow or wide as necessary. The kit comes with 3 different container sizes and a nice case. I also purchased the “TK-5 Tritium 0.5mm Nozzle Kit” with a 2” spray width for larger (small) projects. ... show more

  • Very Pleased
Received the airbrush Thursday morning, started spraying Thursday morning fabulous right out of the box. Had been using a moderately priced Badger for 4-5 years have had nagging problems for 3 to 4 years actually stopped using it for a long time. ordered new innards a few months ago helped for a little while then lately was having clogging problems regularly. Took the splurge and bought the Grex. Saw it a a woodworkers expo back in February, the demo made me a believer(had to wait on the wife to believe). Vary well made, good weight and this model comes with assorted paint holders. Have probably spent 1.5 hours using it in 2 days and love it. I use acrylic paints and water based clear coats. It's fairly easy to clean with soap and water. John ... show more

  • Worth Every Penny
I bought this based on the reviews noted here and they were definitely right about this airbrush! I have arthritis - not terribly bad, but there are days my joints ache more than I can handle and the smooth trigger action on this airbrush helps me to keep working where with other airbrushes I would not be able to continue. Aside from physical issues, the Grex airbrush is just a joy to use - the people who designed it definitely knew what they were doing! The one thing that shows their consideration above many other airbrush makers is the needle cap. Most airbrushes, this piece unscrews to reveal the needle. On the Grex, it is simply pulled away (magnetically held on). If you are spraying really fine lines and have another brush, that needle cap may get lost since it is tiny...but the Grex airbrush, the needle cap, being magnetic, fits and stays on the back of the airbrush while you are spraying fine lines. That little bit of smart manufacturing illustrates how well Grex is made and makes them worth the price paid for a fine instrument! ... show more
