The instructions for assembly were some of the worst I have ever seen. But, with a little time studying it and the pieces parts, was able to get it together without too much difficulty. There are a few missing screws, or places where screws should be place due to holes being there, but the instructions say to skip those holes. Not sure that three more screws would bankrupt the company since they made the unit with the holes for screws. Once put together, it is super sturdy, really heavy, and holds a ton of stuff. Fairly simple to put together, only a phillips screw driver is required & about 20 minutes. Takes a little bit of room to put it all together, the assembly is easiest done with the cabinet on its back side. Only down side I seen was the included drywall anchors. It's worth the cost to buy seperate ones that hold better if your worried about it tipping over. Shelves feel sturdy and it works well for all my kids school, craft and painting supplies I want to keep secured. ... show more

Like stated, most pieces had significant dents in them despite packaging looking perfect so I can only assumed they occurred prior to shipment. Made assembly a bit harder because you had to try to undent and line pieces up that didn't want to fit properly. Not sure how this will affect the integrity of the unit if putting a lot of weight on the shelves. Instructions were easy though and I imagine if the parts weren't dented and what not it would have been a lot easier to put together ... show more

The cabinets were easy to put together and are sturdy. Before putting the cabinet together, count the parts according to the list in the assembly manual. We were missing a couple of shelf supports.
