This cabinet is made of aluminum and has four adjustable shelves. It does require assembly, which isn't too difficult but is easier with two people. It is black in color and available in a variety of sizes. I don't have a garage, but I do have a container that I use for storage of everything from tools to Christmas decorations. I wanted a method to organize it a bit, so I acquired this cabinet to help. I like that it can be locked, which allows me to keep others out if I wish to hide Christmas gifts in it. This shelf is composed of cold rolled steel and is reinforced, making it sturdy and long lasting. It also had a layer of protection that increased its service life. The shelves can handle up to 150 pounds each, but nothing I'm putting on them comes close to that. I got this one for small hand tools, screws, bolts, nuts, and things of that nature. The cabinet is not difficult to assemble, but I must admit that the directions are a little confusing and caused me to install pieces backwards a few times, forcing me to redo my work. It takes some time to put together, but it is well worth it because this is a well-made, high-quality shelf and cabinet that works perfectly for my purposes. ... show more

Very happy with these . Arrived in perfect condition via FedX Ground. No damage. All the parts were there. Assembly was pretty easy. Take your time and follow instructions. All the parts are labeled A, B, C.... just follow the diagram. Assembly was a fun and satisfying project for wife and me. Once we figured out the first one the rest were a breeze. Five stars for the reduced price and quality of the cabinet. I do feel irritated that there were no assembly instructions anywhere within the packaging 😳. To me, that is catastrophic but luckily my husband didn't seem to need directions in order to assemble. That said, it took a bit longer than expected without a guide. First. The instructions on the pin for the doors and the metal you bend up to hold pin in could be better. Image in all three instructions were faint so I couldn’t see it. I managed to figure it out on my own. With that said…..I really love the cabinets! I highly recommend buying the wheels with them. Makes it easy to wheel them around the garage without having to unload them. Helps when I’m working on projects. Also, doors could use magnets to latch doors to stay shut without having to use a key.     • Generally OK but build is more flimsy than I expected
The cabinet went together pretty easily. The instructions were all graphics but fairly easy to follow. The list of parts in the kit showed a couple of parts intended to fasten the cabinet to the wall that were not included in the package I received, but I didn't need them anyway for my purposes. Once I had the cabinet assembled I discovered it rolled very easily (even when full). The gauge of the metal panels is a little too thin so the individual panels flex and feel flimsy, but the cabinet as a whole has good structural integrity. Locking and unlocking requires a bit of key jiggling to get the key inserted all the way. The cabinet was on the lower end of the price range so I'm not too surprised the finished product is underwhelming. OK for the price. I think next time I'd pay a little more for a more durable product. ... show more

Don’t expect high quality if you’ve put together a cheap metal file cabinet expect the same quality i dont plan to put too much weight on them so they will do for me instructions are a bit vague but manageable the packaging was great. So. Much. Foam. Not a bad thing but expect a lot of cardboard and foam packing clean up id buy again for 90 bucks a pop but be aware they are cheap thats what your paying for they are not luxury furniture also the cotter pin to hold the latch assembly they give you was too big luckily i had other ones in smaller sizes so take note of that and prepare accordingly ... show more
