This desk is wonderful! Has everything I want in a desk: a cupholder, space for drawers, space for a printer, a shelf for decor and a lamp, and wood tones. The surface is smooth, which is also great because I like to hand-write letters. I LOVE the outlet for plugging in my electronics--my printer, lamp, and laptop are all plugged in with USB ports to spare for my phone and kindle. SO EXCELLENT. SO INNOVATE. SO ERGONOMIC. Unfortunately, the front edge of my desk's shelf came with a scrape on it, which is slightly bothersome. I took a picture of it. Also, while assembling I had to undo a couple of things because the diagrams were a bit confusing and so assembly took longer than I would've liked. When I got to the final step--assembling the upper shelf--I found that the manufacturer misaligned the screw-holes for securing one end of the upper shelf to the surface of the desk, which was really irritating. I took a picture of this misalignment so you could see. If it weren't for these issues, I would have rated this desk five stars. I'm keeping it, and will enjoy it very much anyway, but would like to get in touch with the company for a partial re-fund or spare parts that fit??? Until then will be enjoying this desk! ... show more

I just received this today and finished assembling it. This seems well worth the money. It is sturdy and the directions were fantastic. Everything was labeled clearly. The parts and screws were labeled even so you pretty much can't mess it up. I think the directions could be in a slightly different order but that is my opinion. How they were was sufficient but I think there may be a better/easier way to assemble. An improvement for the seller: Make it reversible. The 3 main square legs could be oriented 180° which would allow the crossmember to be mounted on either side. the issue is with the upper shelf. You would need added bolt inserts on both the top and bottom of the shelf to allow it to be flipped over. An easy addition if one wanted to do this themselves though. Improve the drawer. The drawer itself isn't bad, fabric with hard face (good quality though) but does the job just fine. If it had side guides and a back stop to prevent it from going side to side and being pushed too far back it would improve this. I will be 3D printing something of my own to remedy this Lastly my big complaint. The dimensions listed in the picture. They are accurate technically. However they account for the shelf height, not the under support bar. So the space between shelves is slightly smaller. My computer just barely fit. Instead of sliding it into the shelf, I had to come in from the side and sneak it in as the support bar made this JUST too small. Overall, great buy from my first impressions. ... show more

The desk looks good but there were a lot of places that I couldn’t screw down because the holes weren’t lined up correctly and if you have a big PC like I do you will not be able to put the pc on the desk or under it. Other than that the desk looks good and feels pretty sturdy.

It was a gift for my stepdaughter’s new PC but the size of her PC is very much large then the actual stand it has on the desk so I advise you to measure it before you purchase the item because now we have to look for an extended piece so the PC can sit on top of because it doesn’t fit on the desk. Overall I really like this desk and replaced a smaller desk and file cabinet. With some added plastic storage bins I was able to store almost everything, at least everything I needed from before on this desk. There is one small shelf above where your desktop tower goes that isn't super practical but as this desk doubles a tabletop hobby desk I find it great to store my mouse/keyboard when not in use. Just a quick not, the product image showing a computer is a micro atx case if you use a mid tower atx case you won't have much room around and I doubt you could fit a full tower atx case with this desk. While I do like this desk, and think the price is pretty decent for what this desk does there are two issues that stick out to me. First of all I strongly dislike that this desk claims to come with a drawer, it is a fabric storage bin you place in the appropriately sized space next to the desktop shelf. Calling this a drawer is hugely misleading, a drawer should be easier to open and close due to rails than a flimsy fabric bin that slides side to side when attempting to close. I will most likely ditch this for another storage option. The other issue I have with this desk is when you are assembling it you tight the bolts down into a plastic mounting which is easy to strip with minimal effort. Now I only had this happen twice in around 50 bolts and it doesn't seem to impact the sturdiness of the desk, however being a little overeager to assemble this could be a problem if you strip out to many of these. I would gladly pay more for this $150-$175 range for this desk if it had metal screw housing for assemble, with plastic this it really shouldn't be more than $125. ... show more
