The perfect desk for limited space. Although the box it arrived in was damaged, I am surprised to say that the items inside were well packaged. The instructions could be a bit confusing in the beginning but after you get the hang of it, it is a breeze to put together. This desk arrived well packaged. I found only one tiny dent in the wood which no one else would see and the paint on all of the metal was perfect. The best part of this was the EASY assembly. There is an Allen wrench included which is normal, but all of the bolts were high quality so I didn't spent twice the time needed trying to keep the wrench lodged in the bolts. The instructions were clear too except for the shelf which just took a little logic to figure out. The only assembly issue was that one of the screw pre-drilled holes for the power unit box was done at a slight slant so the screw head is not 100% flush. It doesn't show so not a big deal. The desk is solid, especially considering the minimalist design, and looks nice. The shelves are good and will hold heavy weight too. This is perfect for a smaller room and my husband is very happy with this surprise birthday present. He was using an old kitchen drop-leaf table which "worked fine" but really wasn't right for the space or use of a computer. The desk chair he was using fits well in the leg space which was a plus since I didn't think of measuring the height of the fixed arms on the chair. I think if you’re in the market for a minimal desk, perhaps for a young one, this will suit your needs! The packaging was straightforward and setup was simple. Nothing wrong with the table up until now and time will tell how long I will have until I have to get a replacement. But then again, I don’t see that happening in the near future. Don’t waste your money!!! This is not as portrayed. There is no way to add the third leg so it gives you a narrow compartment for the shelves that are illustrated. The holes are approximately in the middle of the desktop which would leave two narrow spaces where you could sit. The bolts that hold the legs to the desktop are too short and too fat to fit into the holes they’re meant to go in. I bought slightly longer screws at Lowe’s and got the two end legs attached then tried to stand it up to see if I could skip the third leg since I didn’t want two narrow spaces that I could sit in but as soon as part of the weight of the desktop was put on the legs the screws ripped out of the top and the whole thing collapsed. It’s going into the dumpster today. Unfortunately I had bought two of these nightmares and have just missed the return deadline so the second one is only coming out of its box because it’s too heavy to be lifted into the dumpster intact so I’ll have to unpack the pieces so I can throw them in. ... show more
