This has totally transformed one of the cooler bedrooms of the house for the winter, which (due to the flukes of heat zones and thermostat placements) is just always a bit cooler than is ideal. Nights are comfortable again, however, with this down comforter--- just make sure you get a cotton duvet cover for it! The item has tie-loops in the corners (but not sides) for tethering into the duvet. It arrives very flat and compressed (as you'd expect, with shipping) but came to life with just 1 minute or two of tumbling in the dryer-- AIR ONLY, no heat. Remember that when you've got a genuine down feather comforter, you NEED to protect it with a duvet cover, and the idea is to prolong the comforter by protecting it from getting dirty-- the duvet cover is a big part of this. These things technically CAN be washed, but they don't hold up well, and dry-cleaners are the way to go if you need to. The way that this comforter regulates and equalizes temperatures is obscenely comfortable: pair it with a natural wool blanket and a flat sheet, and you're SET. The stitching seems solid, and I guess my only critique is that it only has 4 tie-loops, instead of 6 or 8, when most duvet covers come with 6 or 8 ties. VERY happy with this item. ... show more

This goose feather down duvet insert is really good quality one. It has for real 100% cotton cover which very soft and pleasant to touch. Also it does not make much noise wen moved at all. It came vacuum sealed, but got really puffed up nicely after opening. I had to come back to fluff it up couple of times, but I am happy with the end results. It feels warm and comfortable, just what my child needed for the winter. It is also good value. I will be definitely recommending this goose feather down duvet insert. ... show more

Don't let the title of this product fool you, it states that this is part of the Hotel Collection. It should say it's part of the Luxury Hotel Collection. It comes vacuum packed so when you open it, it will grow and puff up to the luxury feeling duvet that it is. When it is packaged it feels heavy, however once unpacked and "inflated" (not literally) it no longer feels heavy. This is a well made duvet and should last for quite some time. ... show more
