When I read the reviews for these shelves, I felt like it was risky taking a chance on them but I must say, in my experience, I had very minimal problems. The package arrived in great condition, no scratches or chips or any other damage. The shelves turned out to be exactly what I hoped for. The only issue I have would be the wall anchors. Cheap quality, not trustworthy if you are planning to place anything breakable on these shelves. I attempted to use one wall anchor, made the hole in the wall, lightly tapped the plastic anchor with a hammer and it began to warp. I could have made the hole larger but even then, I'm not too confident about the stability of these anchors. I ended up using my own that holds 70lbs (I'm not recommending you put anything this heavy on these shelves but I always feel safer using one heck of a sturdy wall anchor than to learn the hard way that I should have used a stronger type). It took a good bit of time measuring out where to properly place the screws to align just right with the holes on the shelves, and I used a level to make sure my friends did not get any good laughs at my expense. When all was said and done, I got the shelves up just right, no major mistakes. They are sturdy, they serve their purpose and for the price they are worth it. While I cannot speak for anyone else, I can say I am quite happy with my purchase and the quality of the shelves. The only reason I give this four stars instead of five is because a lot of people might not have their own wall anchors on hand and I can see how the lesser quality of the included anchors could be frustrating for those folks. But if you are careful with how you insert them, you should probably be just fine.

I personally love these shelves for my funko pops and mystery figures. They are easy to put up and mine had no damage only downside is there is another brand that look the same that comes with a paper that has the screw spots on it so the other is easier in that aspect but it's I think 2 dollars more

I love my shelves. But at the time of arrival I did not have time to hang them until the following day before Christmas. I was expecting family and friends, I was ready to hang them before Christmas dinner. So, I did not notice that a chip of wood on the corner was broken. I applied some gorrilla glue and hung the shelves on my wall because I refused to return them...Other that I really have no complaint just wish they were not broken.

After reading the many reviews that the screws and anchors included with these shelves did not work well, I foolishly tried using them anyway. They do not work. They put ripped my walls and I ended up having to fill in those holes and repaint my wall before I could try to hang the shelves again with anchors and screws I purchased from a local hardware store. Another thing, one of the shelves arrived chipped and peeling. I covered it with some spray paint (which ended up not exactly matching great) because I did not want to deal with the hassle of setting up a return and figured they will be hanging in my office, which is not exactly a room I have guests in. The shelves do not hold much weight, which is included in the description and worked fine for my needs. I purchased these for office use, so I didn't need anything too fancy and expensive. However, if you are going to hang some shelves in a more "public" area of your home, I would recommend spending a bit more money for something more reliable.

These shelves are cute and the finish is nice. The back (where they touch the wall) is unfinished, so you can see they are made of some kind of particle board. They are built to hang on screws via slots machined into the back, so placement of the screws must be precise. The package includes screws, a paper drill template, stickers to hold the template in place while you check the level placement and mark the drill holes, and instructions. I planned to put them on a tile wall, so I used adhesive strips so I would not have to drill the tile. I was a bit concerned that the adhesive might not bind to the particle board surface, but after a few days they are still holding. Even if you use the screws, I wouldn't recommend loading them with more than 2 pounds each.

It's a good deal for that price, doesn't lack quality, they're sturdy and solid. Advertisements are a bit misleading visual wise though (with terrible editing, new graphic designer is needed, or at least an optometrist appt. for the current one) so compare the measurements of the objects you want these to hold with the provided shelf ones as there's not mushroom (hehe) to work with. Also, I think they should come with an available option to install them upside down (end edges pointing down), it would give a bit more space to work with and allow for extending beyond the edges, as well as a preferred look by some customers such as myself, so I I ended up customizing them to mount that way and I'm more pleased with them (These were not made to hang this way so do not attempt if you're not sure what you're doing. Without proper tweaks to mount these they will slide off with ease and perhaps, I don't want to feel bad for that. Could care less if it hits your annoying little human but if it hits your dog that will break my heart)
