This produce does what it's supposed to do. My handicapped wife keeps falling out of bed and neither she nor I can get her up. We have to call the police every time. This railing has a gate that locks and we can finally trust that she will sleep the night in the bed and not on the floor. On the downside, the assembly instructions were hidden in the pocket of the over-the-rail stuff holder and I did not find them until I had figured out how to assemble the thing myself.
