Was so pleasantly surprised by this dress. It is very flattering. When I read it had an empire waist, I was initially skeptical, but the reviews convinced me to try it - and i am so happy I did. The empire waist (at least on me), sits above my normal waist line, but not all the way up to directly under my breast line. This brings about a lovely flattering flow of the dress over the abdominal and hip areas. The fluttery sleeves are flattering to older, flabby upper arms. The v-neck is flattering, but not too low. It's a tad sheerer than I'd prefer, but not so that I would return it. In fact, because it is so flattering, I've ordered another in a print.

Beautiful fit on me. Darker green than shows on the computer screen, but it’s a lovely dark forest green. I wear a half-slip under, becau se it’s a little lightweight for Winter wear. That’s the reason for the 4, rather than 5, stars. However, it will be wearable all year-round, except in the hottest Summer months, even with long sleeves. I also bought the flutter-sleeve print dress, but haven’t worn it yet; it’s definitely a summer style. I’m 5’4" and it hits slightly below my knees.

I have a few tunics out of this same fabric. It washes and wears like iron. I was hoping this dress would work for me. Sadly, it did not. On the positive side, the neckline is modest and the length was perfect. This dress can be worn anywhere. Unfortunately, the waist hit me in the wrong place causing a bulge over my stomach.

This is a very simple but pretty dress in a beautiful lilac color. It is a bit too thin for my taste but it appears well made and it falls just below my knee. I am 5'5" and about 140 lbs. Definitely need to wear a slip dur to the sheer Ness of the material. But I recommend this dress for its style and lovely color!

I have a pooch and hoped this style would downplay it a bit. I'm 5’6” and 131 lbs. with an apple shape and thin legs. I'd give it a B in terms of being flattering. It's stretchy t-shirt material and exceptionally soft and comfortable.
