I recently bought a Pit Boss griddle grill. It has a ceramic griddle top and can not be scratched, otherwise, the griddle gets damaged. It will get scratched by using metal utensils. So I found this wooden scraper. The ceramic griddle is super easy to clean . This will make it even easier.It's just the right size. Very sturdy. They say that you can customize the edge to accommodate the grates on a regular grill with the straight edge on the scraper. I on the other hand want the straight edge for the flat top griddle. This is going to work perfectly. And it's made in America.

This does a good job and getting 90% off my grill grates (Weber spirit) but it has an issue with any areas where vertical and horizontal grates cross each other. It can’t really clean those areas well. I still need a wire brush alongside this to feel like my grill is clean. It’s unfortunate because the main reason to have this is avoid the wire brush.

This is my second Great Scrape and I love these things. They last forever and do a solid job cleaning a grill. One has grooves for a grate with thick 1/4" bars, the other has grooves for a very thin grate (with a cross-bar), and while I do need a separate Great Scrape for each, it works great with both types. To get the grate with the crossbar fully clean, I do need to lift it up and scrape the bottom as well as the top -- whereas the bristles of a wire brush would more easily reach "around" both sides -- but that's a small effort for a ton of peace-of-mind to keep wire bristles out of my food.

So glad to have seen th is BBQ product listed on NYTimes Best Gifts List! Have watched BBQ bristle tools flake off metal strands on grill for years. This is a great and safe alternative tool! Purchased for Christmas gifting - this will come to great use and last a good number of years. Wood is strong and cut thick, and the handle is perfectly shaped, comfortably fitting large hand for use. I am going to order the smaller size to take in summer for my camping grill! Highly recommend this product

We have used this about 3-4 times and the grooves are beginning to take shape. My husband says that with the grooves the spatula really cleans between the grates quite well. We highly recommend this product.

I still think I will need to scrub the grates in the sink every onc in awhile but it works quite well and I like knowing that it is safe.
