I tried these because I get night sweats when I sleep. I had heard flannel sheets could help with cooling. I didn’t expect much, but short of buying a new mattress I’ve been trying different fabrics. These sheets have helped tremendously. Are my night sweats completely gone? No, but they really aid in keeping me cool and I no longer wake up soaked in sweat. Most nights I don’t sweat at all anymore. The only thing to note is the queen size barely fits my thicker mattress and it’s pretty tight. I plan to buy more sheets and will just get a king going forward so unless you have a fairly thin mattress, size up for queen to a king. I went through a lot of products, spent many hours, read tons of reviews while looking for the flannel sheets. But all of them were always mentioning the presence of lint. One reviewer complained that she had difficulty to breathe. So, I, being allergic to lint, dust, and alike, thought I could never use the flannels. I got this set because a friend swore that her flannel sheets are like silk, and never gave any lint. And I am so happy I tried this flannel sheets - soft, cuddly, warming you up right away. No lint flying around, not even a hint of it, no lint on my dryer's filter - and that is the attesting to the highest quality of material it is made off. Update: I contacted the company after writing my review. They immediately sent me a replacement set of sheets for both sizes that I ordered (even though I had only opened, washed and tried the full size bed sheet set). I changed the rating from 1 star to 2 since the company immediately responded and sent out 2 additional sets. Here's to hoping we don't struggle again with the shrinking, pilling, and holes! I am impressed with the company and their fast response and offer to send us replacement sheets immediately (whether we returned the original sets, or not). I purchased this brand of flannel sheets last year as a Xmas gift. Because the recipients were pleased with the sheets, I bought another set for them this week and added a set for my son as he currently has only one set of flannel sheets. The items were as expected/pictured, and showed up SUPER fast. My son was so excited, that we washed them to put on his bed last evening. For "pre-shrunk", "no pill", and "deep pocket" sheets, these did NOT live up to the description. :( I washed the sheets by themselves, no bleach on the setting for sheets which is a hot wash and cold rinse. The fitted sheet is now too small for an 8" deep mattress. There's a hole in one of the corners/pockets, AND, they've pilled up. I'm very disappointed and returning both sets. Now I'm back to the drawing board on a Xmas gift idea. ... show more

These are great flannel sheets. I use them all year round. Pilling is a lot less that other brands I have tried. The problem is that there is very little to tuck in at the foot of the bed (I pull the sheet all the way to the top and then fold down). It would be nice if there was an additional 3-6 inches length. I like my toes over the end of the bed and it always pull the tucked part out allowing the sheet and bed spread to pull up. ... show more
