These are good brushes and work better than silicone, which only sploshes stuff around. These do a good job of spreading sauces and marinades evenly and thoroughly. I liked them for spreading oil and butter on my baking pans. They are easy to clean and the bristles look like they are secured enough to stay in the brush and not fall out in pieces. I like having the different sizes to choose from according to what I need them for.

I like that the fibers are fine and soft and hold a lot of product in them so you can brush an appropriate amount of stuff on your food. I've used this to brush oil on things and it doesn't glob up and apply the oil evenly. The choice of sizes is great. The length of the bristles are great too, long enough where you don't risk getting oil into the base of the brush. Easy to clean with dishsoap.

I got these to replace some old wooden handle brushes and I was concerned at first that they would not work like the old ones did. These worked perfect. My Wife uses these when she bakes to spread the shortening or butter around and she says they work just like the old ones. I like that they are easy to clean and seem to be holding up really well.

These brushes are perfect for kitchen use. They can absorb a lot of sauce and work MUCH better than the silicone brushes. What I like best is the is the choice in brush size, depending on what it is I’m using them for spreading oil or butter in a pan, BBQ sauce on meat, etc. This is a great addition for any cooks utensils.

The minute I got them I pulled them out of the package, washed them and started using them. I don't really like the silicone brushes because they lack any sort of nuance, they're like using porous shovels as opposed to basting and painting like brushes with bristles. These bristles do a few important things: 1 - they stay in the brush (nothing worse than eating food and finding a basting bristle later while enjoying your meal that you prepared). 2. They keep the oils or marinade in the bristle bunch so you can spread it around evenly. Silicone brushes just do not do that, they just slap and slather - these soak and distribute. These specific ones come with good variety of shape and size so if you need to dip into a bottle or get to a harder to reach area in the grill - they got the size you need to do that. The handles could be made of stronger plastic (or better yet wood) but overall, these work well.

These worked very well spreading a wash on my pastries. The bristles on these brushes are very fine, allowing these to hold a large amount of liquid, and also to release the liquid smoothly. Easy to clean as well.

These brushes are nice for the kitchen, and the variety of sizes is what really sold me. I especially like the very wide ones, because they cover a lot of surface area for my bigger bakery items when I need to do an egg wash or brush with oil/butter. Honestly, I wouldn't use these near the grill (not a fan of heat+plastic), but I think for kitchen or other household uses they do a pretty decent job.
