Since they are stir sticks, the length is important. One is usable, the rear broke. Highly recommend to the seller to package it more securely. Possibly bind them together with a rod less fragile. I really like the idea of being able to buy four or five for the price of one. I'd figure that also increases the chances of receiving at least one undamaged. Unfortunately, they're packaged in a thin flimsy box, placed in a bag, and sent through the mail. All of them were broken. They're still usable as you'd want to use them in conjunction with a steel tube with a snug fit as not to burn your gloves up, but this was still a bit disappointing. Can't really beat the price though. So, It is what it is. ... show more

Purchased these for amateur metalworking. A few of the rods broke in half in shipping, but otherwise they worked decently for stirring, just don't be too vigorous or expect these to be as strong as metal, they're essentially large pencil leads, and they will break if you force them against the sides of a crucible. ... show more
