    • Grandma Mae's Country Naturals Grain-Free Cat Food – A Solid Choice!
I've been feeding my cat Grandma Mae's Country Naturals Grain-Free formula for a while now, and overall, I'm really pleased with it. The ingredients are high-quality, with real meat as the primary protein source, and I appreciate that it's free from artificial additives and fillers. My cat enjoys the taste, and I’ve noticed her coat is shinier and she has plenty of energy. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the kibble pieces are a bit on the hard side, which might not be ideal for older cats or those with dental issues. Also, it's a little pricey compared to some other brands, but I feel the quality justifies the cost. ... show more

    • Good food, if you don't have a cat prone to urinary blockage
We buy this from our local pet store for about $43 for a 12-lb bag. Our cats LOVE it. In fact they've started to gain some weight they like it so much. You'll notice I left 4-stars though. Our fat 5-year old tonkinese cat got a urinary blockage last year and we tried the urinary food the vet gave us but he couldn't stomach it and would throw up every time he ate. We later found out he's allergic to chicken, poor cat. We decided to use this food instead since it has stuff in it to help urinary health. Everything seemed to be fine, but a little over a year later (now) our cat suffered from a second urinary blockage landing him back at the vet. So the urinary health part of this food didn't help. Our other cats (skinny male) and kitten (female) love it very much though. However, our fat boy can't have it anymore so we're looking at urinary foods without chicken for him. ... show more
