Description

The redoubtable Grandma-this book is a sequel to Grandma Drove the Garbage Truck-is at it again. In addition to collecting the town's garbage, Grandma and her sons also plow the roads in the winter. But what happens when a blizzard comes through, it's the day of the big town carol sing, and Grandma's sons are all stuck in the snow and unable to plow? Leave it to Grandma to clear the way to the church for the carol sing. With more help from her grandson Billy, she gets the streets clear and helps out her neighbors in the process, too. In fact, Grandma does such a good job with the plowing, she even beats Santa to the carol sing. Read more

  • Great! Wonderful!
I am the grandmother of 2 boys, 5 and 7, whose father is a lobsterfishermen, so we were introduced tl "Grandma" in the third volume and liked it so much, I got the "Snowplow" volume for them for Christmas (and of course couldn't wait to give it to them). When they spend the night with me, one has "Lobsterboat" next to his bed, the other has "Snowplow" under his pillow. Next summer we will get "Garbage Truck." ... show more

  • Doesn't download correctly
The story is kind of cute, but would be a whole lot better with pictures!! This is the second time I've downloaded this book. Amazon emailed and said ' you received the wrong book. Please go into settings and turn on updates for your books and it will automatically fix the book'. No it didn't. It's worse than before because now ALL the illustrations are gone. :( ... show more

  • Grand Kids Loved It!
As I am now so far away from my littles, I make sure to send them things of where I am so they'll feel a part of "here" even when they are "there". For this one, I was able to get a picture of me on a snow plow to include with the book. They thought it was great and want to see one too!

  • Sweet story!
A great problem was created the night that was to be a celebration! Someone had to come up with a solution! It took a little boy and grandmother to come up with a will and a way and make things happen! Nothing would stand in their way!
