I have already clocked in 150+ hours and I am having so much fun! I also really like the super precise motion steering mode that simulates a racing wheel without having to blow $430 on one. This game is awesome and super customizable and it gets free updates all the time, definitely get this game!

GT has always set the bar high for racing games and car culture. I used to play them in the past and decided I’d give this one a try. It was on sale and includes a PSVR mode. Gran Turismo 7 for Playstation 5 is just as good if not better than its incarnates, it is certainly better than GT Sport in my opinion. In GT7, whilst the game is installing you can race in a mini game called Music Rally. Although, the music can get annoying in this, the cars that you use are fun to drive. After installation you are prompted to buy a used car with the 20,000 credits that are given. In the early stages of the game, you'll spend most of your time flipping between the cafe and Sunday Cup races. In the cafe, you are given a menu book and this is how you can unlock other parts of the GT world map, earn cars and unlock new tracks as you progress in the game. At certain points you will also need to acquire specific licenses like you do in previous versions to advance. The controls on the standard PS5 controller are easy to master but I can not comment on other controllers. The graphics in game are superb in my opinion, just like watching a video but your the main character in it. Every detail I can think of is there including shadows, reflections and varying weather options. The sound is good, but I can find the BG music both in game and in the menus irritating, but once I figured out how to turn them off and only have Sound Effects and other ambient sounds, got more enjoyment from the game. Overall an extremely good game and perhaps a must have game to those who like driving/racing simulators but I think the RRP of AU$109.95 is a little to high. I'd wait until you get it at a discounted price. I'd certainly would not pay anymore than the RRP if you can avoid it. ... show more

Having played Gran Turismo since the original on PlayStation. It's been great watching the series evolve. This game is great. Graphics are amazing. You can tailor the driving aids forr beginners or more advanced drivers. The grind is not as bad as people claim. 9/10 game UPDATE: still love this game. Just finished it. Had NO need for Microtransactions at all. I did lower the rating because the BGM and "Musicians" they chose are absolutely horrible and will drive you nuts. Thank goodness you can turn it off. ... show more

VR. That's all you need to know. Try this in VR mode, it is amazing, and the single best reason to own the VR2 headset. If you don't have a VR headset, it's still a great game, but you have to try it in VR.

I don't play a lot of racing games, and I probably wouldn't play this in 2D, but I love it in VR! Totally worth it just for that. Looks great in VR! I really like it that you can hold the controller out and turn it like a stearing wheel. Big racing fans can get a rig with a stearing wheel, shifter and pedals. That's a bit much for me. But even with the controller only, I really got into this. I'm old and don't have a ton of time for gaming, but I've found myself playing late into the night on a weekend, trying to get all the golds on driving tests or get first place in every race I race. That PSVR2 headset isn't is comfortable as their last one, but I've worn it at least 2 or 3 hours straight playing this game. Widely considered one of the best games so far for PSVR2 that justifies buying the whole setup. ... show more
