Ended up getting this as a gift for my sister’s boyfriend! He’s been buying a lot of slabs and PSA submissions lately. He needed to upgrade from his old case so I got him this one. He really likes it and enjoys it. It keeps the card slabs steady, holds them in correctly. For any person who’s getting slightly more advanced in the hobby after being a basic collection slab collector, I would definitely recommend this case. Probably exactly what it’s worth and feels really good quality. The key that comes with it feels a little cheesy as it’s a very well popular case and a lot of people at other TCG conventions have the same case so you’re not really safe by leaving that case locked in a convention center but it’s good for either, Home holding or keeping it on you at all times in conventions but other than that everything else about it is solid.

I’ve researched multiple cases and this one was with the highest reviews yes some negative but can’t make everyone happy however my hubby is extremely happy with the case so that’s all that matters. Doesn’t have a strong weird smell. Very sturdy and looks nice.

I collect actively and move graded cards around enough to need a real carrying case, not just a stack of slabs in a deck box. This is the third option I have tried in the category and the first one I am keeping. Two things mattered most coming in: does it actually hold the advertised number of slabs without feeling strained, and is it light enough to actually carry. This case clears both. PSA slabs slot in without forcing them. The case does not bulge or feel stressed when fully loaded. The carry weight is genuinely manageable - which sounds obvious until you have tried a few of these and noticed how many of them feel like a brick once filled. WHAT WORKS - Capacity matches the listing. Fits the advertised count of PSA slabs with no flex or pressure on the case walls. That is the test most cases in this price range fail. - Light enough to actually travel with. Throw it in a backpack to take to a show or a friend's place to trade and you are not regretting the weight every step. - Slabs do not slide around or rattle inside. The interior is the right firmness - holds them in place without putting pressure on the cases. - Fits all the major slabs - PSA, BGS, SGC. If you have a mixed-grader portfolio you do not need separate cases for each. WHAT DOES NOT - I cannot speak to long-term durability yet. The hardware (latches, hinge, handle) feels reasonable, but I will not really know how it holds up until 6 months or more of regular carry. I will update this review if anything fails. - The exterior is functional, not premium. If you want a case you would feel proud carrying into a high-end card shop or onto a show floor, look one tier up. For an active collector's working case, this is the right price-to-quality ratio. WHO IT IS FOR Active collectors who actually move slabs - to shops, shows, friends' places to compare and trade. Not the right pick if you just need long-term shelf storage for a static collection (a bookshelf-style storage box is cheaper). Also not it if you only own a handful of slabs and want something premium - this rewards people who will actually use it. Four stars with the honest caveat that long-term durability is still TBD. Holds what it says, lighter than expected, would buy again.

The case is bigger than I thought, but that's a good thing in the event I drop it then there's thicker layers of protection around the slabs (foam, metal casing). I sleeve my slabs -- PSA -- in perfect-fit sleeves and they fit very nearly perfectly in the rows. They don't feel cramped or squeezed by the foam on either side and can pretty easily be moved, but the blocks of foam used as stoppers in the rows that you can use if you don't fill the entire row with slabs does stay firmly in place even with the case picked up and moved. The metal isn't the most sturdy, it's just aluminum, but I have a case with an aluminum shell that I've had for years and it's held up well. Because of the material, the case likely dents somewhat easily, but not severely, as was the instance for the other case I have of the same material and design, and everything inside was perfectly fine. I don't use the lock feature since it feels very flimsy and I don't see the latches coming undone on their own. Maybe if I use them a lot over the years they'll loosen up, but I've used cases with similar latch designs that loosened from use over time and even when dropped they didn't pop open so I'm not too worried. There is a strong factory smell inside the case when you open it, but I found leaving the case open at least a crack for a few days really helps make the smell fade. This isn't waterproof or airtight, but I don't care about that too much as this is more for storage in my room than anything else and transportation when/if I move. Overall this is the best bang for your buck.
