I bought the smaller version (the large) of this case and was impressed by it so I decided to try this one out . The large version that I got the first time was 89 dollar range , they seem to have gone up, and this extra large version is quite a bit more . These cases are on the expensive side to be sure. They do look good (when built correctly lol ). You must pay attention to every side and top and bottom facing the right way AND not being up side down or the holes will not line up correctly . Be advised , this case empty is VERY heavy. My scale with trays and some warhammer plastic minis in it show it at 17.8 lbs. Might be a bit much for a youngster . I got this one as my son has an extensive warhammer collection so he just needed that much space . The smaller” large version” fits my 2000 point warhammer army just fine but it’s full. The quality so far seems good. It’s seems sturdy, but I hold the bottom when I carry it anyway just to be sure due to the weight. It does showcase your minis well . The acrylic is very clear ( make sure you take the plastic off both sides of each piece! Saw some reviews that complained about clarity and they simply didn’t take the plastic off lol) Seems to be a very good case . If the price comes down, I may by another.

The media could not be loaded. My nephew is a Warhammer 40k enthusiast and I bought this army case as a birthday gift for him. I browsed through a lot of miniature cases, and found this case unique in that the pictures showing the product fully clear, which is one feature I am looking for. I noticed that some reviews say that the front and back panels were not clear, and another says that the accessories were missing. But I really liked the case from the product description and pictures, and I knew my nephew would love it, so I purchased it anyway despite the negative reviews. The package arrived quickly, two days ahead the scheduled time. and I opened it with some trepidation. I checked all the accessories and there were no missing parts. I wanted to give my nephew an assembled finished case, so I put it together. The instructions is clear and assembling is easy. Just remember to peel off the protective film on the panels before assembling it. To my relief, the case is all clear, exactly as in the description. My only reservation is that the acrylic material used for the case tends to leave fingerprints on it. But I was able to remove the fingerprints by wiping it with a rag. There are 6 metal trays compared to 5 for many others selling on the site. I really like the front door, which is totally clear and transparent once the protective film is removed. Both the top and bottom right corners of the door can be closed magnetically and it also has a carabiner to secure the miniatures inside. GREAT CASE! I cannot wait to deliver it to my nephew to surprise him and make him happy.

I needed somewhere to store my Imperial Knights and decided on this box. First off: box is great. Took 30 minutes to put together, is sturdy and not terribly heavy. Trays are easy to get magnets on and off, and it doesn't shake at all when I'm carrying the case. Def recommend you get this. UNLESS. You play a lot of tall lads. See, if you take a look at my pictures you can see that the top room is pretty low. In fact, I doubt that I could get my Knights in if I hadn't magnetized the rocket pods. Each tray has room for 4 armigers, 3 armigers and 1 Questoris, or 2 Questoris and 1 armiger. I think I would've had to get creative with the arms, too. I expect a Cerastus Knight would be fine, but you'd have to get your angles right. I imagine if you have Chaos Knights or Gargants, you may have to get creative. Not impossible, just not ideal. Still a great buy!

I bought this for my son's Warhammer figures for when he someday finishes them. Other reviews indicated missing parts and trouble peeling the protective backing--I had no problems there, all walls are clear--Just peel off the protective coating before you assemble. Also I thought the instructions were pretty clear, and came with a screwdriver too. You may need to keep some screws loose and alternate as you assemble, especially in the corners. I found that most everything was engineered well. I agree that it would be tough to include all the trays in the display case fully loaded, but its great having that extra tray for spare parts. I also agree that it may not hold all of the figures, but I wouldn't want the case to be bigger, it would get awkward to carry. I did have a problem with the fact that the bottom plastic piece is thinner than the top so in the back on the bottom where three screws converge, there should be some shorter screws provided so they don't interfere with one another. I didn't have any so I placed a few washers there to fix that issue. Also, the door fits inside of the bottom and top pieces and is pretty tight so it sticks a bit when opening & closing (I would have designed the door a few hairs shorter since it doesn't need to be airtight). Again, nothing a few well placed washers doesn't solve, and not entirely necessary. Overall, this is a beautifully clear case that displays and carries figures nicely.
